How exactly are they "woefully inadequate" in the software support department?
I meant woefully inadequate compared to Apple....who is their main competitor in the ultra premium sector. If they want to charge more than Apple, and be looked at like Apple, they have to offer Apple-like services. And Apple destroys them in the software support areas, including length of time, number of phones supported for that length of time, buggy software etc. Google still does a better job and they're tiny in the phone arena compared to Samsung.
I know they're trying to step it up, but I don't think the value is there software support wise for the prices they're charging ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
