I am having a weird issue. I have Lenovo K5 (Android 5.1.1).
When I set up a custom app for SMS messaging as default it stops receiving SMS.
More specifically, I have tried textra, chomp and EvolveSMS. When I install it everything seems fine for a while. After some time, or after restart, incoming messages just don't appear (nowhere, never). Opening the app temporarily solves the issue and new (not previous, they are lost somewhere forever) messages arrive. For some time at least...
Setting the stock messaging app as default solves the issue, but it is not a solution I fancy.
Anyone might have an idea what is the problem here?
