Google Messages App - viewing all messages together

I have a question related to the Google Message App on my new Samsung A14 5G.

When you open up the app to view your messages, you see the list of them in chronological order.

On the left side you have the name of the sender and to the right side you have the time or date that when it arrived.

Whenever someone sends me a MMS message (photo), instead of having the time or date that it arrived like it would with a SMS (text) message, it would actually show the photo on the right side instead of the time or date when received.

Is there a setting to change this so that I can see the time or date instead of the photo on the right side when a MMS message is received?

It's quite possible that is just the way it is, but I figured if there was setting, I just don't know where to find it.

I checked it over on my phone and couldn't find a setting for what you are looking for. If the setting exists, it doesn't appear to be obvious.
