[SOLVED] How do I disable zen mode notifications from my phone.

[Android Central Question]

I recently upgraded my phone and it seems that it has installed the new feature of Zen mode. I do not want it and wish to disable it. It runs in the background and drains my battery

Welcome to the forums. Which phone do you have? If a OnePlus device, you can disable/enable this mode from the quick settings panel.

There is NO way to disable it. But do send oneplus a new message telling them how much it annoys you each and every time that it forces another distracting push notification onto your phone. And let them know that they should've included the ability to turn these off. If they don't give us this option very soon I'm going to trash this phone and never buy another oneplus device and will recommend that no one else buy one either. These notifications are no different to me than telemarketers constantly calling

Welcome to the forums. Are you still talking about the Zen mode? This feature has to be manually enabled by you, it doesn't work without your consent.

Zen mode is a feature that OnePlus included recently in their phones.

Yes I'm talking about zen mode. I have a Oneplus 6T and the notifications from zen mode started after the most recent update. I assure you that I never tuned this on. And that there is no way to turn them off.

What kind of notifications? Can you post a screenshot so we can have a better idea?

Consider yourself very lucky then. There are numerous complaints in the oneplus forum from people wanting to disable this and can not. The replys I have from my emails to oneplus say there's no way to disable it

That's weird. Never seen that with the 7 series, maybe it was implemented in a different way on previous models.
