1.13.604 Update -- Discuss Here (Read Post #1 First)

I don't see it asked yet, but will this negatively impact my LauncherPro+ installation? i did a backup just in case, but I hope nothing gets changed on that front. i spent most of Sunday tweaking my launcher

I postponed the update after the download completed in order to find the update file.

That being said, my System version number is 1.13.516.MB810.Verizon.en.US

Astro shows that /cache was updated at the time the download completed but I don't see anything in that directory.

Likewise a search for files newer than 1 day doesn't yield any results.

Well, that is the old version number so I wonder where it's at.

No update.zip file on my SD card that I can see. Just the ota.x509.pem certificate file in my /sdcard/Downloads directory.

That very well could be. What happens if you go and check the system menu for updates again now?

All done installing. Droid eye hung around for a bit longer than usual but all seems well. LauncherPro+ loaded up without any problems and everything seems to be ok.


Now where's Froyo?

It says the update is ready for installation and asks me to "Install Now" or "Install Later."

Notably, it gives me this message even when the SD card is mounted for USB Mass Storage, so I'm guessing the file is not saved to the SD card, otherwise the phone wouldn't see the update file?

just finished the update, didn't get a notification. Seems roughly the same with the addition of Kindle

I can definitely second that Droid eye hang. It took easily a couple minutes for me on just that.

I can also second LauncherPro and everything working well as well

Although I'm sure its because its a fresh boot, I can feel a speed increase I know it xD
