anyone else having haptic feedback problems? I cant turn it all the way off. It is still on while typing, and I have it set to 'off'
I know this is probably a small deal but i got really used to seeing the photos for all linked facebook contacts in my "People." There is some sort of bug with the HTC for Facebook that doesn't allow me to link profiles for contacts whose names are after the letter "J" ...? Any ideas?
Beezy,
I'm sure you saw the rumored 2.1 official release for next week. What should we do if we want to use the official update? Should we just wait for a Rom? I have all the functionality of 2.1 xcept the Google nav so its not adding much.....
So, it's been a couple weeks since flashing this ROM, and I love it so far. However, there are a couple things that seem to just cause the phone to lag
Google Nav - This BARELY runs. Whenever I attempt to run this... I have to reboot the phone. Is it a limitation of this ROM?
Handcent SMS - This used ran great on the Gumbo 1.5c ROM... but now, it lags pretty bad when composing texts.
Any ideas of what I can do?
Glad to hear that.I think google nav. is hit an miss, works for some.I don't really ever use it so i couldn't say. After about a week, most of the kinks have almost magically worked themselves out for me.
Google Nav is still a no-go, but I don't mind the Sprint Nav.
Audio is working no problems at all now...took about 3 days and it's not cut out at all for a few. Never applied a fix.
Handcent has had no more issues either. It's always been a bit laggy on my phone, so maybe I just don't know the difference. Never ran Gumbo.
One weird thing though, has any one with this beezy lite opt 4 rom tried to uninstall a program in the settings>apps menu? It will uninstall once for me, then FC instead of a confirmation screen. It works though, then if I go back in it's gone and I can uninstall another.
Welp, I think I figured what was causing Handcent to lag. I was thinkin back to when I FIRST flashed the ROM, it was fine... then I flashed the ERIS audio patch, and that's when it started. So, I snagged the AudioFixRC patch and flashed it last night... so far it seems to be running a bit smoother. There's still a SLIGHT lag, but a vast improvement from before.
