Alot of us here have been patiently waiting for a proper wicked a** kernel 100% working. I messaged joban about his kernel and he never got back to me so Wait patiently it is! How is everyones battery with the roms there using? Right now I am using Cm9 and my battery percentage drops few percentages every 5 to 10 mins

i just flashed my first rom(you never forget your first time) and my p506 is now running cm7.2 with a p505 kernel. voice, text and wifi all work .
now i cant find my contact list, apps,or how to turn on 3g data. i do have my pics and music though. im still working on gettin the rest of my stuff. is there any way to get the old keyboard back? i dont care for qwerty. thanks.

How do you calibrate? And does that rom have a working camera now? I know the other version did not

charge ur battery all the way. then clear battery stats in recovery. let run all the way down then charge back withoit interuption. their ar free app also. there is also a russion method that supposed to work best. if i find the link again ill post it

I had an old phone I 'toothed my contacts from. But I wonder where they are stored, and if I could have got them from backup and loaded them somehow? Or even flash back. To stock, sync them to Google(like I should have to begin with) reflash to cm 7.2, then transfer, p them over?
By the way, got my data workingand apps back. I love this new rom!

Are you saying that your contacts on your sim wont show up? If thats the case app store search sim contacts there is an app that will copy the contacts to your phones memory. I use it for roms that dont have that form of sim management in them

just scaredthe bejesus outta myself! my phones battery indicator was way over half full, so i left it alone.when i looked an hour later, it had shut off. battery was so low i had to use usb to get it to take enough charge before the wall charger would do anything for it. (makes no sense to me). anyhow, i guess that answers the battery use question! im also looking into a more accurate battery "guage".
btw,the sim contact app didnt work for me, but i learned from my mistake,backup everything

If you google synced your phone to once before with the contacts you can login an resync

Does anybody have the apk for the the hidden menu so I can have it on CM7.2, I want to use it to disable A-GPS (unless somebody knows another way to disable A-GPS?)

I've tried using the p506_stock_gb_kernel_old_baseband and while it does give me service to make calls and send text messages I still don't have mobile data. I have also tried the baseband fix.

the beta4 version with the funny sim six built in works for me. but for some reason flashing the newest version and then flashing the sim fix doesn't solve the problem.
