Any EB13 Users get the OTA update to EC05? Post here!

By the way, have you ever tried the sport mode on your camera? It's a known "force crash" on EB13 that is resolved with EC05.

Had you not told me, I don't think I would have ever found that on my own. But I did try it, and was able to get it to FC. I'm still not sure I care if I get upgraded to EC05 OTA, but thanks for pointing that out.

Got to have a keyboard. So the 3d will not fly.

My previous phone was the Palm Pre Minus, so I "knew" that I had to have a physical keyboard. That's one of the main reasons I got the Epic over the Evo. I have to say, I hardly ever use the Epic's keyboard. SwiftKey really gets the job done for me.

Yes, I use the Swiftkey for most everything, however names and passcodes and specific words used on my job are much better typed on a keyboard. What can I say, I'm old.

EC05 just downloaded OTA for me. I was running EB13 previously which I had updated over the wire. Look out guys, it's finally on the way.

I can confirm this! Just got the EC05 install downloaded, was running EB13 that was installed using the update.zip method. I'll post any issues.

Just received the system update for my EB13 Epic. The phone has restarted and loaded the update. It is restarting again. The update to EC05 has completed without any issues! Finally!

Figures I get tired of waiting and did the restore to eclair and manual update to EC05 today for no reason. :/

I just got the notification for EC05, restarted and got stuck at a screen with an exclamation mark and the green android guy. Eventually, I gave up and now I'm back to EB13 (at least it's not bricked), but I'm not sure how to restart the update.

In Nashville, TN, downloaded something from the Market and finally got prompted for the update which is actively running on my phone as I type this now.

From EB13 to EC05 I should add.

Had read that folks were seeing the push, downloaded an app from The Market, and the upgrade notice appeared within 5 minutes. Upgrading as I'm typing this. Epic 4G, from EB13 to EC05. In eastern WV. FYI. -j

Update: Upgrade finished, phone booted normally. Whole process took < 10 minutes.

Just received OTA of EC05 from EB13. Now I did get my MSL# and hard reset my phone earlier today in an attempt to trigger the download. I am not sure if the update came because of that action or Sprint finally got there head out of there *%$. Either way, the data is now out there and is finding it's way to our phones.

CONFIRMED!!! I literally JUST got my alert! My phone is rebooting and installing right now... and yes, I was EB13 (after using the update method from Samsung's website last month)

I'm in Washington State and I updated apps through markets and in less than 5 minutes I got the notification to update! I am on 4G at the moment and it is installing right now!
