Any of you also use a tablet

Re: Any of you also usr a tablet

Very interesting, the Apple tablets and Samsung flagship
That's me too. Aside from my phone, N8, I'm still an apple fanboy. iMac, MBP and iPad Pro. Though my next laptop may be a Windows device. Oh, and I do have a Samsung S3 8inch tablet too.

Re: Any of you also usr a tablet

I am all Apple besides my note 8. I have a iPad pro for my tablet which works great better than any android tablet. I would have a new iPhone except the note is so much faster and can do more than iPhone.
Agreed. See my reply below too.

From reading a lot of the above posts it appears that most of us prefer an Android phone, the N8 probably since this is a N8 thread, but prefer the apple ipad over the Android tablets. Not everyone here mind you. But most. Just an interesting observation.

I use a new kindle fire 2017 all the time. I always wanted a nexus 7 but never could justify the cost. $30 on sale was just right to find out if a needed a tablet for the 2015 model and with the screen improvements and optimizing the 2017 model is just right for me. I used to have new phones all the time as well but have just been settled on my iPhone 6+ for a while. While I would love a new note 8 or pixel 2 this one is paid for which is most important now that we have kids. I’ll go back to android eventually.

Years ago I had a BB Playbook that I really liked but they stopped updating; very disappointed. In November of this year I bought a SP2 8" and am very pleased with.

Re: Any of you also usr a tablet

I have a Nexus 9 (no issues with it) that will be handed down really soon and a iPad Pro 10.5.

If I'm going to pair a note 8 and a tablet, it's gotta be a BIG tablet.
There are not a lot of big (12" or more) Android tablets out there.
I have a Note Pro 12.2, but those are out of production.

iPad pro 12.9" now. love it.
Android apps suck for tablets (not All, just Most) vs iOS iPad apps.

Any Note 8 owners also use a tablet? If so, which one? I was thinking about getting a tablet to complement my Note 8. There are a few locally very reasonably priced.

I wanted an Android tablet so I tried Samsung's galaxy tab (the recent one) and it was slow and miserable and never got updated. I gave up on Android tablets.

For Christmas I got a pixel book and so far I love it. It's fast, always up to date and runs Android apps.

Two Tab S2s 8 inch. Had them for a while now. Love the size and smooth like butter

I have had the Galaxy Tab S2 for a year or so now and love it. Great size for lying in bed on my back surfing the web, reading Kindle books and other books, playing interactive card games Etc. I just bought a more portable new tab S2 8 inch on sale over the holidays to take with me to doctor's appointments, dentists, car washes, and anywhere else I have to spend otherwise dead air time waiting. My old Nexus 7 2013 still works pretty good also but it is a little slower now and I will probably sell it or give it to my wife to use. Tablets? Love them all.😙

I'm not thrilled with the cheap S 7" tablet I got. I mean it's ok but it's low end. Lol. Likely will resell.

Tablets are usually a you get what you pay for kinda deal. The Fire tablets are great for the price, but you will still not be happy compared to a S3 or iPad.

Most bargain tablets are just that....

Yeah if I was to buy a tablet it would be an iPad or an iPad Pro.

Apple Fan Boi.... LOL

I like the Huawei MediaPad M3 8.0 for what I use it for it is great. Web browsing and media consumption, I don't game on Android much. The processor is fast, battery life great and the form factor fits. (Slides in my back pocket)

I got it for I think $299 it is lower now, and they have a new one coming out next year. I wanted a Nexus 8 inch tablet (again for the back pocket factor) or would have settled for a Samsung, but none this year.

Haha somewhat fan boy :P. I just think their tablets are the best.

Phones... Eh. ;x

The Apple products are just too overpriced, I have a Surface Pro (2017) if I need something that big.
