Was waiting to get the phone to just swap Sims before I returned my Moto x but I only had 14 days so now I guess I'll have hook up my old Note 2 again while I wait. Sucks

I had three different B&H reps confirm it is the US phone version and B&H is an authorized Sony retailer. You should be good to go.

Yeah, what the hell, after comparing that it was "preparing to ship", and I could actually have it in my hot little hands this week, I chose to cancel. I'm only a day away from B&H so we'll see how long this takes..

I just did the same. Black for me. But it came out to $10 cheaper from B&H compared to using the student discount from Sony. Go figure. My order also has an ETA of tomorrow.

Excellent question!! My original order was placed on 13-Oct and later cancelled on 15-Oct. I used PayPal and I still have yet to see my refund.

Just canceled Sony order and picked up B&H. B&H ETA is Friday for here in AZ, but Sony's shipping was going to be "standard ground". I figure that it getting here by Friday would be sooner than coming from anywhere by standard ground shipping.

Talking to Sony right now. They are saying 30 days for the credit to PayPal wow! That sucks. Anyway I just placed my order with B&H as well. Says delivery tomorrow.. That's crazy! Saved a whopping $6 but more importantly I won't have to wonder about when I'll be getting the thing.. Can't wait!!

So I'm assuming that the authorized vendors get priority from Sony over the public? It's pretty crazy that we can get them right away from a retailer and not the manufacturer.

Did anyone else get a shipping and tracking notification from their order with Sony? Mine is in transit via FedEx Home Delivery and should arrive Thursday.

It's strange they had so few on hand for their launch day but at least B&H offered it cheaper and apparently with more available inventory and faster shipping. Way to go Sony. Reminds me of when the Nexus 4 was launched.

Like many, I noticed that Sony had already charged my paypal, which is just lame if you ask me. What isn't lame is that it was credited to my paypal immediately after cancelling, so not sure what's up with others.

My invoice with B&H says it'll arrive tomorrow, which is just insane, but it has yet to move. It's in the warehouse still. What are they? Zappos? I mean, I can place an order with zappos at bedtime, have tracking when I wake up and the package on my door that afternoon. LOL. We'll see when it actually arrives. This might all be for nought
