AT&T: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

So I canceled my Samsung order and I reserved through att this morning. Didn't feel like dealing with Samsung and not to confident in their trade in offer as things seemed to get screwed up. Just curious. What's the latest come one has ordered so far and gotten tracking info. What seems to be the turn around this late into the ordering process.

Ordered from AT&T last night at 5:45pm, and its already waiting for me at home today. I canceled my Samsung order I had yesterday once I saw it ship.

Thanks. I knew I saw your lost somewhere but couldn't find it. I replied to that saying I would wait it out but I followed your lead this morning. Hopefully mine ships also. Would be nice. Thanks for the reply.

Mine - Delivered, one hour of work left, then an hour drive and have to stop and pickup Destiny 2 on the way home

The shipping itself is quick too, for once. Last night my device was in Memphis and overnight it left, stopped in Louisville, left there and got to my local area. I got my shipping yesterday afternoon and it was at my house today before 11.

And allllll of this is why I'd rather go in on the official release date and grab a phone. It's too much stress and anxiety! My job gives me enough so I certainly don't need more from preorder debacles.

This isn't knocking you who do preorder. I realize some of u live in large metro areas where there is the risk of selling out if your store only receives 3 units. Then there are those of you who work sun up to sun down, or live in rural areas where your nearest store is an hour away.

Preorder offers a convenience, but its also anxiety inducing! I hope today and tomorrow are your days to get your new toy. It sucks seeing people play with a toy that you want so badly. Especially when you did the same thing they did - preorder!

Hopefully the pretty boxes are not reserved for shipping and in store still gets the funky orange and white!

I must admit I raised an eyebrow at that next day delivery. I thought about it but I'm holding steady. I'd be the one to order today and get a November delivery date!

Mine showed up much later than I'd expected given FedEx's usual delivery times but it's up and running

Midnight black is so beautiful in person!!!!

Currently have it set up on my other line, will transfer Sims once I get everything the way I want on it. Now time to nerd out

No issues with get the phone setup. Did a fresh install of all apps and everything was smooth. This thing flies on my 5ghz wireless with FiOS.
