AT&T: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

So I'm seeing an estimated shipping day on 9/12 if I'm looking at the phone. But when I get to the screen to submit it shows two day shipping. So what are you all seeing for shipping days and delivery time? I'm preordered through BB but won't let me pick up until next Friday. So thinking of canceling.

No issues with get the phone setup. Did a fresh install of all apps and everything was smooth. This thing flies on my 5ghz wireless with FiOS.

My roommate has a first gen Moto Z phone (I think?) and in my 5ghz wifi he couldn't believe how ridiculously fast thing thing is. I love it

It was the same for me yesterday showed the 12th. I placed my order yesterday morning and it's already shipped.

Guess I just gotta decide what to do. If I can my BB preorder tomorrow and order here, I'd be probably Tuesday before it showed up. Sigh. Why won't BB release the damn phones???

It's BB preorder in store pickup. Not web order.....unfortunately.

Ah. Yeah that would suck then. And you'll be limited by how many the store gets in stock that day vs how many people ordered it.

Ordered 8/26 Midnight Black (I'm in NJ).
Received text with FedEx overnight tracking #. As of 5:38 my time, it left the FedEx Facility in Fort Worth Texas. It's scheduled to arrive by 8pm tomorrow.

Did you order direct from Samsung and take advantage of the free 360 camera Pr?...I did 8/25 11:00 AM (I'm in NJ as well) and still have not even received a Tracking notification!

Not to derail the convo, but do you have the gigabit internet? 950 up/down speeds? Getting that installed at the house on Sunday and looking forward to it.

I had pre-ordered the Note 7 at BB and on day one they did not get any AT&T black but they got a bunch of silver in, I bought one on line and when I went i had them cancel the pre-order. Last weekend I was talking to one of the Blue Shirts at my local BB and they were not releasing anything until the 15th, also he had no idea what they were getting in from each carrier.

Amen to this! I immediately checked all the things that I loved from the Note 7. My notes immediately imported from my Note 7 and then I checked the "brush" in the note app to see if the "paint" mixed colors like they did on the 7. The only thing I can't figure out yet, is the edge clock on the AOD. With my Note 7, I would use the always on display normal through the day, but at 8 pm it would switch to the edge clock until 7 am the next morning. It looks like on the Note 8, it's either or and not both just based on a schedule.

This has been a long, frustrating wait. Pre-ordered the note8 from AT&T Aug 24 and had to cancel that order after a couple days due to system error. The 2nd order I had to cancel yesterday after being stuck on "in progress" for over a week, I called and they suggested I cancel and reorder AGAIN! This 3rd order was placed around noon yesterday over the phone (1st two orders placed online). The money has come out but still stuck on "in progress" with no estimated ship date. I'm getting overly anxious and frustrated

I preordered my phone August 25th, got a tracking number tuesday, but it says only label created. I contacted AT&T and they said its not getting shipped til the 12th. Not fair! A lot of people who ordered after me are getting their phones and now I don't think I will be able to get the promotions.

Ordered online Friday... said 9/12 expected ship date... arrived yesterday by noon. Must be no supply issue. Glad cause I'm in Ft. Laud and didn't want to deal with any delievery issue with Hurricane.

My shipped via ups ground. Was supposed to be 2-3 days but it shipped ground with no estimated delivery time. I'm just supposed to guess lol. Then as if the gods were mocking me. The ups truck pulled up out front of my house. Driver gets out, I get excited, he walks to my neighbors. Then I began to cry and curse the heavens lol. Not really but it was funny.

Hey all! Got a question. I ordered the Note8 via AT&T today at 3 EST. Surprisingly, it's already shipped out and being delivered tomorrow with Overnight shipping.

It is being delivered by Fedex but I won't be home to receive it. Since I'm worried about the package being stolen.. If I schedule a hold at location, will it be available for pick up tomorrow?
