AT&T: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

If it's anything like the process for getting the free VR Gear that came with my S8+, you go into the shop Samsung app with your Samsung acct. then go to promotions and there should be a place to select your preferred gift and provide any requested validation of purchase. I think I had to upload a scan of the AT&T order receipt. then you should get a confirmation email and then status updates. (this is all Samsung, AT&T has no part in it)

There will be one in the box with your phone, I believe I scanned that and uploaded it to Samsung. It's the same with AT&T no mater if it's a business acct or a consumer acct. I have managed both.

Mine is at my house. My wife sent me a photo of the package sitting on my shelf. Now I have to survive the next 6 hours of work.

Hahahaha - my wife will probably do the same thing this afternoon after mine arrives. Both comforting and torturous at the same time :)
 
I have some clarification for those with UPS "Next day Air Saver" the service commitment for this is:
Business - by 3pm local
Residential - by 7pm local

Hope this helps anyone that may have been wondering.

Well, received another email today saying that if I don't call in my order will be cancelled. Did the chat thing and the gentlemen apologized and said the only way to fix it was to cancel and reorder.

I cancelled my order and ordered an unlocked Note 8 from Amazon so I guess I'll get it when I get it. Good luck to all. Thanks
 
Mine is delivered and sitting at home. I’m 3 hours away at the Philly airport waiting for my daughters flight to land. It’s gonna be a long drive home.

Sorry to hear about your issue, With Amazon you never know. If they actually have it in their warehouses it may ship quickly. I have been happy with my Amazon purchases and their delivery turnaround.

So I canceled my Samsung order and I reserved through att this morning. Didn't feel like dealing with Samsung and not to confident in their trade in offer as things seemed to get screwed up. Just curious. What's the latest come one has ordered so far and gotten tracking info. What seems to be the turn around this late into the ordering process.
