AT&T: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

I'm going to go on the 15th at my local AT&T store and pick one up.

I got the shipping notice for my Orchid Grey Note 8 last Sunday. It's at the local AT&T Store for pick up. I'll be getting it tomorrow morning I hope!

That's what I've had planned since the start... got shipping confirmation today that my Unicorn Beetle Pro case will be here in time too so I can bring it home in a case on the 15th!!! Can't wait!

How about this one? I got my early upgrade situation handled yesterday. I can preorder or wait. I chose to wait. Reason being, what if I'd have ordered yesterday then run into a shipping nightmare that's so prevalent in the threads. I'm not risking a backorder, or a lost UPS/FE truck, or a stuck in confirmed or preorder. It's only a week. We can do it!

I'm not worried about getting my preferred color, because I love them both. And with color only being on the back, I can have any color I want.

I'm not worried about the gifts because according to the fine print, Samsung will issue a store credit or something for the same value as the gifts.

Finally, I cracked the screen on my S7E and was sent an S8 as a replacement. Using this helps me prepare for the Supreme Device, N8!

So mine arrived in my hands yesterday. Problem is that the UPS guy came at 9pm lol. Didn't have time to set it up so I had to wait until his morning to do it.

I slept about 2 hours the day mine came... I was tinkering from the time I got home all through the night.

Good luck. Please report back your experience. What phone are you planning to trade in, if you don't mind me asking? I'm going to trade in my Note 3 once my Note 8 comes in.

Wow, already receiving my 360 camera. Received my Note 8 on Thursday and registered for the free gift and got an email yesterday with tracking.

Thank you. So I fell in the trap from att agents that told me I was eligible. and went ahead and sent my old phone and activated the note 8 today. However, now I'm being told my another att representative online that the promotions are only for those who purchase Sep8th to 30th. SO whoever preordered the phone is screwed. Sucks but its att afterall

Did you keep your first chat? If so, you're good. If not, you probably have an uphill battle.

Yes I did. Would that help me? I kinda just gave up on it. The last agent I talked to told me to try to stop the shipment of my old phone and return the note 8 I got. Sorry to hear that. I originally preordered at Best Buy in store on 8/25, but cancelled last night and placed a new order with ATT. I just got a shipping notification and plan to do the trade in at the store.

It certainly helped me. Short version:

B4 turning in my 2nd N7, my husband and I each spoke with a chat rep and were both told my Next installment plan would revert to Aug, when I originally got the N7. Now I'm told I have to pay extra or wait til Nov. I gave customer care the reference # to each chat and voila! I can preorder now or wait till Friday and go in store. No extra cost.

I'm still confused as to why mine shipped via UPS and others are FedEx.

You're close to Dallas. Wondering if the carriers in that area were slimmed down and behind due to the hurricane situation. There are now 3 active hurricanes.

That offer has been on the website for three weeks and had the end date of the 30th - how can they now say that it starts the 8th? That's CRAP!!!

It's finally here and it's glorious. Loving it so far. Very fast and smooth. Screen is amazing and feels better in the hand then the s8 plus I had. Love the squared sides
