If this phone comes out on December 8th it will be a complete fail for Google and Samsung. Hopefully, Google announces another carrier launch so I can go ahead and get off Verizon. I'm fed up.
To hold a phone release up because of POS VZW app is beyond absurd. Then Verizon says "technical problems." No, it's your horrible software!
When VZW released the OG Droid it really looked like they were headed in the right direction, but 2 years later and they've come full circle. VZW is the Apple of phone carriers.

This morning lying in bed before getting up, I thought hey good chance I'll see some official announcement of something good on the gn. Quickly, before any coffee, I checked all the big phone sites...Nothing. Kinda sad.
Then I come here and watch this thread grow into some ugly convoluted crap about even more crap that vzw may be having with this launch. My day is crap now. :-/

VZW gets the majority of my rage. But come on Google and Samsung, put your f'ing foot down. This is beyond ridiculous. I'm sure you can find a carrier that will release a phone within a month and a half of announcing it.
Maybe all along their plan was to launch it a good while after the Razr so people couldnt return their Razrs and get the Nexus.

yes...i'm very mad at Verizon right now. they're forcing their bloat into a Nexus phone. and looks like they're winning that side of the argument. so sad for google.
Sadly if that's the plan we won't see the phone until January 9th or so - after the extended holiday return period expries.
Yeah unfortunately if this isnt out or announced by Monday, im off Verizon... i joined back up for the sole purpose of this phone and the fact that i can save like 10 bucks a month on the family plan im on... They need to wise up when it comes to these launches. Many of you say that we are a minority when it comes to sales. But honestly ive sold more phones than some of the reps i know because of my nerdness. Verizon had a good opportunity to cash in on a win win situation for everyone. But were watching them quickly burn that bridge...

I really don't wanna say it but I'm seriously considering NOT buying this phone just to say EFFF YOU VERIZON . If enough customers said EFFF YOU VERIZON in this fashion they might think about changing their business practices.

So wtf!!!! Is the phone coming out on Monday or not. I do not feel like reading all the pages again. I saw where Phil said he had a source that said Monday and now what is all the garbage talk about December? I talked to two of the phone reps and both said they trained on the Nexus on Wednesday and that is what a sweet phone. The one I spoke with today actually said they would be shocked if it does not come out next week. I have been waiting for a Nexus since the Nexus One was suppose to come out for Verizon. I am just tired of it and want my Nexus.
heres a great idea verizon first of all don't put those apps on my phone, but if you must then push them out later and let me give you money for the phone, seriously I'm going to give you money for a phone, let me do that, then you get what you want....the money!!!
