Best screen protector?

Just got my Seidio protector in today and put it on, so much better than the Zagg protector I had on it. Feels like nothings there and is resistant to finger prints. Zagg protectors suck major ass, your finger sticks and the edges curl. Get a cheaper and much better protector from Seidio and btw their Innocase Active Case is by far the best case I have ever owned. Check it out on Amazon!

I had a Phantom Skinz on for about 4 days and couldn't stand it. I was at a baseball game yesterday in full sun and it got so sticky and rubbery in the heat that I tore it off. it also added quite a bit of nasty glare when trying to see it in full sun. It's a lot better than the Zagg that I had on my Pre, but still had some orange peel and was too tacky for my liking. Maybe my install was bad, don't know...

Anyone know if the boxwave is better? I've heard it's a different material so it doesn't have that rubbery feel to it... Have one on order.

I'm a fan of phantom skinz. I had one on my pre. The evo installation was much easier since it is flat. The palm install was a nightmare. Phantom skinz are a great deal, 2 for $10 is hard to beat. Personally I think it is almost impossible to tell you have a protector with phantom skinz.

I prefer pouch cases. Hard cases tend to scratch the body of the phone instead of protecting it. I like Sena cases personally. Good quality cases for decent prices.

I sure wish Sena would go ahead and begin producing the Ultraslim cover for the EVO. When I contacted them earlier this month, they told me they had no plans to offer it!

I prefer ebay skins then these expensive skins that cost like 12 bucks and you get only one, and if you mess up your SOL. I bought 5 ebay skins for 4 bucks and couldnt be happier, invisishield is the bomb.

I'll only use the Boxwave anti-glare on my devices. Great non-orange-peel feel. The crystal ones are nice too, they're optically clear and you can't tell they're there.

The Boxwave are static-cling, and washable. If a screen protector requires you to wet either it, or the phone, run away.

Boxwave

Okay I have been looking for a screen protector for a while now because I have the Zagg on my EVO now and I hate it. It is to sticky and I hate the orange peel look. I have just recieved my Boxwave anti-glare protector and it is sweet. It was super easy to put on and it feels great. I doesn't show fingerprints at all and my finger just slides on it. I rate a 5+ and suggest yall should get it. It does take a little away from the screens beauty but so do fingerprints.

I'm going to have to get a boxwave. As you said the Zagg is to sticky...i say grippy. how much is the boxwave?

I was wondering do the screen protectors compromise the front camera in any ways. For example, can you tell that there is a film on top of the camera or does it make the pictures look smuggy? If so which screen protector does that so I make sure not to get it. Thanks!

Almost all of them have a cutout for the camera so there is no film over it. I know Phantom and Boxwave do, I'm pretty sure Zagg does was well and I would bet most of the reset do as well.

I have the boxwave anti glare and i hate it. i think that it makes my screen look grainy and as far as being anti glare, i couldnt tell any difference. I used zagg on my pre and eventually it started to collect dust under the edges and i took it off. I also used the seidio screen protector and loved it the best. I will be purchasing that for my evo. Its very thin and the screen remains clarity is excellent.

I have an HTC brand screen protector, and it seems to be great so far, I can't tell that is even on. There's no fuzziness at all when I turn on the front camera. I just got the screen protector so I will give an update in a few days.

I've decided on the SGP screen protector. I haven't read any bad things about them at all. I've had the Zagg (didn't like it) and phantomskinz (much better than Zagg), but I really don't want one that adheres to my screen on the EVO. My only question is if anybody has seen the difference between the anti-fingerprint and the ultra crystal. Does the anti-fingerprint significantly reduce the brightness of the screen? Make it more viewable in daylight? Does the ultra crystal have any affect on daylight viewing?

I like the idea of matte finish anti-fingerprint protectors, but I don't want to sacrifice display quality because of it. I've read that this brand is one of the best for that.

I am wondering this, too! I currently have phantomskinz which i love but when i'm ready to replace this i would really like an alternative that doesn't require so much water. i think i have settled on SGP but am wondering all the same things you are.

After using the Boxwave Crystal (NOT anti-glare) for a few days I can honestly say that I will never use one of those wet-applied protectors again! The Boxwave is super clear, no orange peel, is as smooth as the glass and was super easy to apply. Took 5 minutes to put on, didn't even have to shut the phone off, with no bubbles that you hope disappear over time. It's removable and washable. My Phantom Skinz was good for a "wet skin", but for me it doesn't compare. It never felt good (especially when it got warm) and had a slight orange peel when looked at from an angle. If the Boxwave doesn't last as long, who cares - it's easy to put on a new one and I don't have to give my phone a bath when I do.

Boxwave is the best there is, bar none.

My question is do you really need one? The HTC is glass and has tested well against scratches.
