BestBuy: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

man..i should've ordered for delivery and not pickup.
show them by cancelling your order and buying it through your carrier, that's what I plan on doing first thing tomorrow after tlkn to the manager. because this is nonsense.
 
I have a feeling that tomorrow afternoon, we pickup people will start getting emails telling us our order is ready for pickup. Crossing fingers...
 
Well guys it's been fun. BB screwed up my order and basically said you would have to start the whole process again. I asked why they didn't cancel it and they said they were told to leave them all open. But all ends well i called Verizon and i opted for overnight delivery and should have it in the morning! Also the BB rep did say that they started shipping today as verizon and sprint just said screw it and started shipping! Also the only reason i found the issue was by logging in via web. No where on the mobile app NOR did i get a call or email from best buy alerting me of this

I think you're right! My phone shipped today and it looks like it's coming from my local Best Buy store.
 
I have UPS tracking due to come Thurs. Ordered 8/25 VZW via BB. Good luck everyone. Nice to get it early. Looking forward to chatting with you all in the forums

Frankly if I don't get an email by early afternoon I will cancel my pickup and order directly from Verizon for next day delivery. It's the principle that they would treat pickup customers differently than online orders. Forget the $150 savings.
 
Ordered my Verizon N8 from BB on three 30th to be delivered and I'm getting it tomorrow!
 
So, I pre-ordered thru Best Buy as a Sprint user on Aug 24th at Midnight, and ever since my status has said "In Progress" and my payment method is still saying "Awaiting Authorization" Are there any Sprint BB pre-orders out there that have seen any movement? I have been getting rather discouraged after seeing all the Verizon, AT&T, and even T Mobile pre-orders already shipped and received. This is my first time to do this and probably the last. Been wanting to update my Note 4, which is a great phone, but getting old and slow.

Have you tried calling them? That is not a normal status

Exactly the same position that I'm in. Also waiting to let go of my Note 4. It's disappointing to say the least.

Mine said that, till this morning when I was finally charged. So maybe tomorrow? I'm on AT&T though.
