LTE in the GS2 that would allow Samsung to retain the current, slim form factor, instead of having to go a bit thicker to accommodate 1st gen radios. I'm hoping and praying...

I am just going to wait it out!!! BMX said one thing and WNRussell says that the Bionic/Targa will be worth the wait.

I'm gonna wait until I hear more, particularly about the GSII, but I'd love to hear more on the Bionic as well. That said, I think you have to put what BMX and wnrussell have said in perspective. My understanding is that wnrussell either works for Motorola or is very close to Motorola. And as such I would expect him to tout the Bionic probably moreso than someone who's not as close. I don't fault him at all for it, I'd probably do it too if I was in that position. On the other hand, BMX has IMO been very impartial and tells it like it is. He has shown no favorites as far as I can tell. So, I'd day the true answer is probably somewhere in between. And I'd also say that much of it will depend on the individual. For instance, BMX may value something differently than you or I. So, what he might not care for, we'd really like, and vice-versa.

Ding ding ding. Its said winrusell works for/connected with Moto, while BMX works for/connected with Verizon.

So WR got a reason to tout the Bionic, but BMX doesnt really. Verizon doesnt care which phone it sells. Hence even though i dont think BMXs analysis is right, he got no reason to make the Bionic sound better than it is.

I am sorry, I have been trying to relocate the article I found last night about the possible new specs so I could post a link.

But basically he said it looks like they are getting away from the current CPU, and GPU going to the PowerVR SGX 540 GPU that would mesh nicely with a certain 1.5 MHz CPU.

I report this because of the mystery device BMX was/is testing he claimed had a 1.5 MHz.

I wait................... and hope for an aluminum square edged form factor reminiscent of the D1 with horsepower under the hood that is growing horns.

I was looking forward to having the Tegra 2 + LTE etc mostly because im an Nvidia fan and after seeing those videos many months ago with the LG Optimus 2x it made my mouth water. I wonder if the TI dual core will be on par with the tegra 2 and if you'll be able to play all of the games that were slated for the tegra zone?

Oh here's something to really get you all bent out of shape lol. Moto has some rocking new phones coming out. Could one of them be the Bionic? Possible. You will see the name "Targa" being used on the new site.

These seem to be codenames but if the Bionic is the Zaha or the Slimline you will flip out. Talk about beautiful phones.

Update: We just realized that the phones are pictured in the same order as the infographic in the upper right hand corner, which would make that bottom gray handset in the above photo the rumored Targa -- or so we think.


So it makes sense, if Bionic/Targa is the one in the picture right there then i am a happy man. Well as long as if comes before tiered data, cause then in that case i dont care.

Theres 3 phone looking devices there. The first one that shows the back named "Slimline", which is also silver is unique. I never seen a phone use a back like that.

The third one is the rumored Targa. They only show the front. Also silver, i like as well.
