When I was on the phone with Motorola last a few weeks ago they told me that they have in their system that a target date is sometime next month.

Well since I have to answer the question I will. I am still in Maryland and still on vacation, havent seen what the revisions of the "bionic" even look like. The device I was giving specs for is not the bionic and isn't even a Moto device... IN FACT it hasn't even been picked up by a carrier yet.

Not sure who the guys at HOFO are as I haven't been over there in years but perhaps they have information from moto that I dont have access to.. wouldnt be the first time but I can and will only speak with devices I have in hand.

That being said I am glad that in the face of all these other launches you all are still excited by this device.

Oh yes my friend there is quite the following for this phone. As much as this delay sucks It is probably for the best. I would rather have a better device than one that is broken out of the box. I just think folks are just looking for a bone with the disappointment they got from the origional being cancelled.

Seems to much to hope for that Verizon might end up getting that phone that he was talking about. I'm sure one of the other carriers will get it first, and in late 2012 Verizon will get a version of it.

Still have to wait and see what kind of specs the Bionic ends up with and whether it has webtop, because that might kill whatever great specs it could have. The phone Blackmannx mentioned had some fairly amazing specs. Very possible Bionic might be similar, but have to wait and see.

Thought it was an LTE phone? Doesnt that make it Verizon? I'm confused... but that is normal.

AT&T will have LTE very soon. So will some Canadian and European carriers.

Except that phone does have a carrier, SK-Telecom... just not in the U.S...

LTE is becoming the standard so you will are it across multiple carriers.

Its the SV DO that has me thinking this device would be VZW of they pick it up. That is a next step for EV DO which VZW's current 2.9g tech.

how soon will we see this tech on 3G devices...I would pick the X2 up if it had this tech on it, but alas it does not...
