You're allowed to have your opinion but to just make blanket statements isn't helpful for the forum. You did have a bad experience and can definitely tell people about it .. but to say a blanket lie that it is horrible everywhere over and over repeatedly does no good. I tried Verizon and their call quality at my house (specifically in my house) was my only complaint .. but I don't go bash them as if my one issue was everywhere because that would be inaccurate.

As I said go travel outside most cities and you'll see how "good" their service is ....once I leave nyc and get around Connecticut , Parts of Long Island, New Jersey and even on the way to philly you get really poor to non existent service

I have a different experience. All in NJ I had LTE including the bridge over to Philly -- and while in Philly.

I have also stated when leaving to where I travel I get service. Unless I am driving up to NJ , Ohio , or the such I am then on edge but plan accordingly. I have stated all these things. I understand you hate them but this forum is meant to help answer questions -- Not just bash a company over and over with things that are untrue (saying they suck everywhere) since you had a bad experience.

Re: Do you get good Service ?

Have tmo in Chicago area and service kicks it. Went to AZ recently and service really sucked. Notice that I had 4g LTE...

Wasn't a fluke, entire trip was sub par

Having competition is such a terrible thing! /s

I get LTE in 95% of the places I visit, including buildings and underground. And at home they're a lot faster than Sprint and Verizon (not sure about ATT since I don't know anybody with them in my area).

T-mobile is doing a lot of things right. They are forcing all the other carriers to compete on price. They forced the other carriers to give discounts for off contract phones. They offer plenty of perks.

Even though tmobile didn't get good service where I need it, they are a great option.

Even Verizon's XLTE network is getting low speeds at certain locations. This is 20+20mhz.

Treating customers like crap isn't a perk ;)

Unfortunately you had bad experience. That happens with every carrier. I agree that their csr needs work but so does other carriers.

Nothing really "lol" about it. When I went I had lte everywhere. Hotel, girlfriends family (multiple houses), etc. I really never ran into an issue except going into her grandfathers basement to play pool. That's the only time I ran into a problem with lte. I'd have to ask exactly where we were.

Sorry I just didn't have the issues you had... But we could have been in different spots.

No, but giving me 2x the speed of Verizon and 5x the speed of Sprint sure is, all while being significantly cheaper and giving me unlimited music streaming ;)

I get 2x the speed with Verizon and x6 times in my home since I get 0 with t-mobile . For $20 more a month I get a superior service with Verizon . I also don't have to deal with the atrocity called t-mobile customer service. They say they took away contracts but financing charges are essentially contracts and act as an ETF. I don't particularly like their business practice of clouding all this with their "changes"

Sprint service might not be the greatest but $87 not including taxes for unlimited data and a nexus 6 on easy pay is a great deal unlike t-mobile which would cost for true unlimited data and a nexus 6 would cost $107 before taxes .

I've never had any issues with Verizon or AT&T.

Verizon isn't exactly known for their CS either...oh wait, they are: Congratulations To Comcast, Your 2014 Worst Company In America! – Consumerist

Semi-finalists for worst company in America ;)

Re: Do you get good Service ?

I don't how they treat their customers.
But I've read a lot on them lately, and I haven't read anything worse about them than I've read about Verizon or Att.
But I have read about how their LTE is rolling out, and their plans are priced low. Which in turn has caused Verizon to lower their plans.

Re: Do you get good Service ?

I actually was with AT&T when they were known to be pretty poor but yet never had issues with them .

This is me with T-Mobile for you :).

Also it's great the superior service works for you .. That's why carriers are so area dependent. T-Mobile was bad for you but for UJ and I it is great... But all 3 of us live in different parts of the country.

Customer service isn't location specific .....I got people from Florida so called helping me ....their customer crap service was terrible in 2010 and terrible still as well . They need to get fire EVERYBODY and hire some new people. There is a reason why they are 4th place and will always stay there :)

I'm just not able to get anything more than 2g at my house. I could probably survive if I could at least get 3g. As soon as I drive up to the main road I get screaming fast speeds, but as soon as I start down our private country road, it drops back to 2g. I may at a later date try some more experimenting with my external antenna, but for now I'm going to give up on the Test Drive phone. Too bad, because in town the LTE speeds are very impressive.
