survis question

Do u have to give your credit card information when you do a test drive program. How does that work?

Yes you have to but it's only a hold and won't be put through as a transaction unless you don't return the phone for t-mobile test drive at least

re: Service question

How long do you actually get to keep and use the phone? The test model phone can you choose what it is? Is the unlimited data for the trial. Unlimited. What if you decide to switch any promos such as a free month of data or something? Have you tried it? I am just trying to make sure that there is no catch. Such as a 200 dollar restocking fee or something for example. Thank you appreciate any help. I am currently with Verizon Wireless and love them but wouldn't mind giving another carrier a try to support a smaller business. Verizon is expensive and I would not be on them unless my mom had a family share plan with them so my bill is very cheap. That is the only reason. Would I be able to use my verizon samsung galaxy s3 with tmobile.

re: Service question

How is the sound quolity for making calls? It is great with verizon but i had Boost Mobile and it was ok only. That was the only thing I did not like about the boost mobile. If I was not in the contract I may very well have switched. That is also when I found that I do not like

They give you unlimited 4g data calling and texting and an iPhone 5s . You will have to return the phone even if you want to switch . It's more about trying out the service then a phone so imo no issue being an iPhone specially when I think ios devices have the best antennas imo. There is no fees to use test drive with t-mobile . If you don't return the phone they charge you the device cost and if it's damaged they charge you $100

re: Service question

Why is that? That would not do for me. To G what's up if I was to switch I would want it to be 4G. What I have to buy another phone through them. Thanks

Yes you'll probably have to buy a new phone through them or like an iPhone or nexus 6 since they have the right bands. The Verizon Samsung Galaxy s3 won't have the right bands since that phone was built for Verizon and some GSM bands for international use. They won't have LTE bands for t-mobile, sprint or AT&T.

If you want a phone that has all the bands I would suggest getting a nexus 6 since that phone is unlocked through t-mobile and you can finance it or pay in full and if you ever leave t-mobile you can use that phone on Verizon, AT&T or sprint

re: Service question

Thank you. I think it is crazy that a phone that I have bought can't be used for whatever network. I want to use it. Even if its unlocked. I guess I will wait until I'm ready for a new phone and then consider as which as I cannot afford to buy another phone at this time. I just bought this one to you about 1 week ago. I do not want another phone anyway. No moreiphones for me they are boring. I guess I really like Samsung phone. Not that I couldn't get used to another one but I really like this phone. That is why I threw out myiphone sold it rather. Thank you for your help.

using s3 from verizon

I am currently with Verizon Wireless and very happy with them. I was thinking in a couple years I might want to try my hand at a different company. Somebody in another post told me that the phone that I have the s3 from Verizon Wireless will not work on T Mobile. I just wanted to confirm this a second time. I just bought this phone and not looking to get another one for at least 2 3 years maybe. I think I'll phone should work with all carriers. The iPhone can do it but I do not like the iPhone. Its a good phone but not is easy to use Android. I love my s3 and think I will stick with Samsung devices in the future

Re: using s3 from verizon

Any suggestions as if this is even a good idea I could switch. I love Verizon's coverage but they are expensive. I am getting a good deal being on my moms family plan. It would be nice not to have to worry about going over data or anything like that. Also I really like what T Mobile is doing as far as a business plan. Unlimited everything for the same price that you get one gig on Verizon. Lolololol I have also heard that the service is getting much better all the time. I wish T Mobile the best of luck. I just wondering how it will work when I go up to the mountains. Even Verizon is in what they call extended network which is not roaming but using a local company carolina west towers. Will this be the same with T Mobile? Maybe I need to make a new thread for that. Thank you all. I love being at a place where I have people who give real answers. The phone companies will tell you anything to get you to buy a new phone from them and service. Thanks again

Re: using s3 from verizon

As I said the Verizon phone won't have 4G LTE or probably even faux 4G or 3G for other networks . Most android OEM's will make at least 4 different devices of the same model. One for each network like Verizon, AT&T, sprint or t-mobile. These phones will have the right network frequencies that each company use. For example the t-mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have the 700mhz band 12 since it's one of t-mobile frequency bands for LTE (there is others I don't remember). Verizon will have 700mhz band 13 since they use that. These phones don't typically have the other bands. They will probably have 2G bands that is used with AT&T and t-mobile though.

There is a few phones that have all the required frequencies for all network or at least most in the states. The iPhone 6 and 6 plus can work on Verizon, t-mobile and AT&T but not sprint which has its own model. The nexus 5 can work on AT&T, sprint or t-mobile. The nexus 6 can with work all 4 major networks

How much data do you use and pay for each month? I am wondering about mobile data whether you have V

I'm asking this question based out of plain curiosity. How much do you pay per month for your phone bill and how much data do you get. We are paying $110 for two phones in contract with unlimited talk unlimited text and 1 gig of data plus a promotional gift. What are you guys saying. I think a lot of people are paying a whole lot of money on their phone bills. If mine was any more than it is now I'll consider switching or if I used one day that's always consider switching as well. Also do you do any of you know of any current promotions for ways to get one. I made button to cancel on contracts are up to get something more out of the service. Verizon is great and obviously they think they can charge a whole lot of money. I wouldn't stay with them but my part of the phone bill is only $40 for my extra line on a family plan. Sorry for all the spelling and typo errors, I am using the voice dictation as I am too lazy to type this morning. Way to go me. I'm just kidding I am just being lazy this morning. I'm just being lazy. I appreciate any responses. The thing is with them out of money that we are paying other carriers we give the same service for half the price. The one good thing is that when our contract is up a year from now bill will go down $30 that will be a decent price.

Why not trade in your s3 to t-mobile since selling won't gather much I guess and get a nexus 6 and finnance it? The phone is only around $24 a Month to pay off in 24 months.

I'm by myself on my plan with 10gb and paying $144 after taxes. $80 for the plan, $15 for the phone access, $29 for the phone on edge (paying it off in 24 months), and $10 adding my cellular iPad on my account to share the data pool

Re: How much data do you use and pay for each month? I am wondering about mobile data whether you ha

Add on to this, how happy are you with your service. Do you feel its a good price. I am just wondering as I would like to get others opinions. Feel free to comment that is what I am looking for here for me personally I feel the service reception go to speed and everything else are very good. Even Verizon's customer support is great. I love their service overall and have been with them for many years. Especially for the price that I'm paying for my it seems to be a great deal. Unlimited text unlimited minutes and almost a full two gigs to myself. However when the contracts are up next year that will go down to one game. That is when I will have to renegotiate. As always thank everybody for your help and suggestions and feedback

10 gigabytes, that sounds like a lot to me. Sounds like a lot of money as well. Are you happy with the service? Have you considered switching to a different cheaper company or are you happiest with Verizon. You must not have any home wifi at least much of the day. Lol I guess everybody has different uses on their phone. I use a whole lot of data at home for Netflix but when I'm out and about it is very little

I pay for 4GB of data each month and typically use 1-2GB.

Re: How much data do you use and pay for each month? I am wondering about mobile data whether you ha

I was with t-mobile and God I hate them so badly. Their customer service sucks at least for me and coverage is spotty.

I'm with Verizon only because it's solid coverage. If sprint was good I'll go there

I used around 9gb last month and it's from watching NFL playoffs on my phone which is why it's high but typically I use around 5-7gb a month
