Sounds like a good resource, Cookbook style learning is the best for me.
I've only gotten very slightly past hello world since I picked up the G2 a few weeks ago.

Longtime RSS reader here but have only lurked the forums before this. I would definitely be interested in the cookbook! It could really help me kick start my app development.

I haven't made it too far using only Google's Android tutorial but I'd love to be able to head the effort to port my company's iOS games to Android. This book would really help.

Sounds great cookbook style learning always works best for me.
I just got a G2 and SDK a few weeks ago, and just getting beyond hello world to something vaguely useful.

Been interested in developing apps for android. Already have a strong background in Java, just need to get acquainted with the android Java api. Would be interested in this book! :D

I'm currently a student at Full Sail studying game development(starting final project next month, yay) and I would love to write a game or two for the Android Marketplace. Does this book by chance have any documentation on the NDK? I am trying to specialize in graphics programming and looking to get my OpenGL ES 2.0 on. Down with the fixed function pipeline!

I'd like to checkout the book. Most of mine are based on 1.5 or less and it would be nice to see what the book has on social networking.

I would benefit a lot from having this book. I have no programming background at all but would love to create my own Apps for Android.
