Now that I have a smart phone (Evo), instead of bringing the newspaper into the restroom with me, I read the news on my phone (sorry, I won't post pictures LOL). Anyway, I was well, you know, and remembered I had my Evo in my pocket. Let's just say that the position I was in and the location the phone was in didn't make for the best combination. I was grabbing the phone, I had it, I started to move it and then it started to slip. My heart raced as it fell out of my hand. Lucky for me it actually fell back into my pocket.

I think a Seidio case would have saved my EVO from being smashed as my drunken friends forcelly threw me in the pool over the July 4th weekend. The best part is that after I convinced them to take the EVO out of my pocket so it would not get wet, my friend just tossed it and the EVO hit the floor and broke in several pieces! Grrrr! Still waiting fot the replacement from Assurion who claims that they are on backorder.

I left my Evo on top of my car about a week and a half ago and didn't realize this until I came to my first stoplight. When I pressed on the brake, my Evo slid down the windshield and wedged itself under my right windshield wiper. I pulled over the first chance I got and rescued my little buddy from the windshield wiper's firm grasp and noticed there wasn't a scratch on it! Not even the camera lens. Talk about luck...

Scratched up Evo

I work security for my apartment complex and was chasing a peeping tom 3 nights ago. As I ran (with my naked Evo in hand) it slipped onto the blacktop paved parking lot and has a very rough feeling bottom left corner now. Luckily the screen didn't get scratched. I really need a tough case!!

Wife throws out my Evo

Ok, I got my HTC Evo. I get home and start unpacking it. My wife asks me to move some chairs (or something), but I completely ignore her. She probably asked me few time, but I was too busy setting up my HTC Evo. Next thing I remember, she grabs my Evo and throws it out the front door. Likely for me it landed on the front lawn and bounced off to the bushes. I was amazed that the Evo was not damaged or broken. I really need a case for my Evo or I need to start listening to my wife!

My story...I just went 90 miles out of my way to purchase the EVO in some little Ho Dink town ....this is the day after waiting in line overnight for my wifes iphone 4 ......So then me calling around for 3 hours to finally find a EVO..... I was mad tired .....but estatic that i picked up the EVO at the radio shack.... The clerk saying if you buy a case today and another accesory i will take 30 percent off ...i told the clerk that i would go to ebay and get them for 90% off......The clerk looked heartbroken and he did do me a favor holding the EVO for two hours giving me time to drive there to pick it up. So i was like whatever i will buy it.... Got my phone activated and was in complete bliss started walking out of the store and of course i was messing with the phone stepped off the curb that i did not notice and dropped new purchased device .....i was horrified only to see that it was left unaffected by said drop because of the handy dandy case the salesperson had just sold me.

Skateboarding

On the 4th of July I was drunkenly skateboarding down the street with my EVO in pocket. The EVO is so big that it sticks out of my pocket and at one point I came to close to a wall trying to miss other pedestrians and this wall scraped up my EVO real bad. If I had a case for my phone I wouldn't have a scraped up EVO

I was playing basketball one day at a local elementary school; kind of like that of will smith in fresh prince of bel air. I set my evo on my hat which I laid on the ground so that it wouldn't fly out of my quite large pockets while playing. I was making it all day long until "the shot." The shot that would change my life forever. The ball bounced off of the double rim. I could see my evo's life flash before my eye's I ran as fast as I could. I felt like I was in my old track days in high school. The ball comes 3 inches within hitting the back of my evo. And I dive and hit the ball before it can do any harm. I lay there on the ground taking in my tremendous victory for not only me and my evo but for all of us Android lovers. I get up kiss my evo and see a trail of blood rolling down the side of my arm. So what did I learn that day? I learned that Android rocks, I need a case, pokets that zip and that I am not ashamed of my battle wounds that saved my evo

There were bears. Angry Bears. I was in a tree and the angry bears were below me. I pulled out my EVO to call for help and fumbled....fumbled turning off the alarm on the EVO that woke me up from the dream with the bears.

I work at the Greyhound Bus Line and one day at work my naked EVO was in my pocket while i was under the bus it fell out of my pocket and was almost crushed by the Luggage Bin Door. I have been looking for a holster and or case to help keep this from happening again i have broke/cracked many of my cell phone screens before in the past and i don't want my precious EVO to get Damaged.

I ride my bike everyday and have done so for the past 8-9 years. The other day, it was a tad chilly in the morning so I wore a lite hoody, and put my EVO in my right pocket. I noticed that the pocket was a little shallow for my EVO, but paid it no mind none the less. As I was approaching my favorite left hand turn, The kind you can take like you were riding a Moto GP bike, My EVO flew out of my pocket and to my horror, I watched it as it in slow motion narrowly missed the edge of the road, and landed safetly in the grass. I had to walk my bike home after that as it was no longer comfortable to sit on the seat (if you catch my drift). I am sure that a white active case for EVO would have not only saved my phone had it hit the road, but my shorts as well.

I got a little too enthusiastic using Hoccer to throw a picture to someone with an iphone. End result my silicon gel sheathed evo bounced off the ladys head and landed in her lap. Its then that I realized she could have sued me or worse - my evo could have broken. Hoccer didnt work either. Uninstalled. Oh and thats why I could use a heavy duty phone protector thing from seidio.

About a year ago, before my Evo days, I was racing to my car with my Palm Pre in hand. Late for a meeting, as I was running and in stride my right hand came down and slapped my right knee as it was coming up. That collision sent my Pre flying about 10 feet up and 20 feet forward. It seemed to all happen in slow motion as for a brief second I considered diving for my Pre as they do in the movies.

Need less to say I didn't dive for it. And to add insult to injury, as if the impact on the sidewalk wasn't enough, my Pre slid another 10 to 15 feet scraping along the concrete. Devastating.

It was the 4th of July and my phone was on the outside table on my parents porch. We were having a grand time lighting fireworks and watching them go boom. One particular firework was called the super parachute battallion. It basically shoots 8 large cardboard tubes upwards to release a parachute. Well when the first tube fired up, it knocked the whole round canister down horizontally. We watched in slow motion horror as each of the seven tubes came out one by one while the canister continued to randomly spin. My niece got hit in the leg with a tube, one tube went in between my two nephews, and guess what, one tube shot right onto the porch and knocked my EVO of the table to the ground. Thank God that the phone slide off the table on its back and landed on the grass with not one scratch on it. We all breathed a sigh of relief that the EVO was okay. And I guess it was okay too that no one in my family was hurt.

P.S. A case sure would be sweet!

I was just finished and leaving work. Was getting dark outside and slowly beginning to rain. Being the over-protective nerd of my new toy *HTC Evo*, i tucked it under my arm for the walk to my car. As pull my hand out and under my other arms elbow, I clipped my phone on my elbow and it flipped outta my hand, bounced slightly off the car door. Reacting as fast as i could, i stuck my shoe out to try and cradle the fall. No luck, it nicked my shoe and went "cart-wheeling" once or twice away into the rain. Our parking lot if full of very small pieces of gravel. *sigh*

I always leave my phone on my lap when I am driving my car. Many times, I forget that it is there. Pulling into my driveway after work one day, I got out of the car and the phone was propelled outside my reach! I dove for the phone, and missed, but it luckily landed in the grass.

I have a feeling I won't be so lucky next time.. :/

Well, firstly I'd like to say I'm an android newcomer coming from WebOS. I had to buy my EVO at full price because I damaged my other phone ( Palm Pre). It completely shattered one day when I dropped it, but that's another story. I work in a busy state hospital in the operating room transporting patients to the OR and running errands for the department. I had to go over to the Children's Hospital to retrieve a patient and bring them safely to the OR. That part of the Hospital is one building over and five floors up. I get to the room and upload the patient (a child) and proceed down the elevator 5 floors and into the Operating Room's initial area. While trying to retrieve the patients paperwork to give away, my phones ( I have the EVO naked in a hip case and my OR phone in another holster) got entangled in the IV cables while bending down and both went flying when I jerked ( I jerked so I wouldn't pull the cables anymore). My evo went hitting the ground. The holster is secured with a magnet, but to no avail I watched as my holster opened on contact and my evo went flying. I held my breath....paused..... and recovered the phone. I had minor scratches on the sides, but that was all. Lucky me, you say? Yeah, sure. Guess how my Palm Pre shattered? Exactly the same way. I feel I could use the innocase rugged to the fullest extent to protect my $450 investment. Go Heels.....!!!!

While I was wearing a hoodie, I was grabbing it from the front pocket and it almost fell out onto the pavement outside. I would have been devastated.
