Could the Pixel 3XL even offer anything that would make you wanna trade your Note 9 for it?

Umm considering I bought the Note 9 1 month ago, I would be an ***** to swap. I had a Pixel XL and other than earlier updates I didn't like it that much.

I was just thinking. I came from a Google Pixel 2XL and it was great at first, but after a while, it felt bland and boring.

I'm absolutely loving my Note 9, but I was curious if there woul be at part of the Pixel 3XL that would make you even think about trading?

Also, do you think there would even be a good trade in value (promo, or otherwise) for an Unlocked 512GB Note 9 at Best Buy or Verizon?

Nope. With the price of my note 9, I'm in for 2 years unless I win the lottery lol, no idea how people can afford to switch phones so often with the current prices

For everyone touting the Pixel camera over the Note9, most people wouldn't be able to tell any difference on most pictures and side by side with each other. Both cameras are great. Taking that out of the equation, IMO, the pixel xl doesn't offer many, if any, advantages over the Note9 for me.

Was entirely wanting the Pixel 3 XL. But I keep getting people that has the Iphone X and was having reception problems. And a few more.
They was at the At&t store where they live in Ashville, Alabama and have a bad problem with Reception problem because of the mountain and all the trees.
They was asking the man at the phone store. What he carries. He has both the Samsung Note 9 and the Iphone X.
He was telling them that he got better reception with the note 9.
And could go 3 days on the battery with the note 9. And he had a case that he knocked the button out for Bixby cause he don't like Bixby.
They got a note 9 and a S9 phone last nite.
My buddy I grew up with said you should look at the note 9. It has 8GB memore. I have a big SD card in it, and its a 128gb phone.
The phone you are looking at only has 4 gm memory and the standard phone is only 64gb,

So now I'm up in the air again on what I want to get.

It would be a huge downgrade coming from a N9. It will have a good camera but that's it. Pixels are just mid range phones priced at a flagship price.

I think updating the OS is overrated in 2018. If you have a Note, it comes out in late August / early September and then gets updated about 4-6 months later. Then, most people on here (ones that really care about what OS they're on) will just buy a new phone. Most that keep them for over 2 years probably don't care or even know what OS they're running.
Samsung is usually ahead of the curve with options included with a new OS.
