Do you have a site to download them that you recomend or some themes that you could post for me to download

Hrm....I've always been on the stock CM7 wallpaper....prox sensor still sucks for me.

I turned off the GB lock and unlock animations under Display in CM settings, and that seemed to help slightly, but the problem still occurs, and it may just be my imagination that it helped...

That sucks, I know how much of a pain in the butt it is when it's not working. So far "knock on wood" it is still working for me as long as I leave the live weather wallpaper off.

It may be a shot in the dark but have you tried a different launcher? I'm using Launcher pro. The only reason I say this is that if the live wallpaper affected mine, which basically has an effect on the home screen, it could be such a thing that the launcher could also have something to do with it. It may sound off the wall, but the wallpaper affecting mine sounds a little off the wall too, but for some reason it was causing my problem.

My favorite cm7 theme is rover just search for it on xda forums. Also I thought i read bluetooth doesnt work im not sure just saying it works fine here. I actually cant find anything wrong with this ROM, proximity works fine for me now and this is the most updated and fastest rom there is for the optimus s... im stickin with it! Thanks

Can somoeone confirm if the mic input from a wired mic headset works with this build?

I tried several builds back without luck. Doesn't look like anyone reported it as an issue. Moved to Lego for a bit just for the mic. I'll try flashing again to try and will post result.

Not to sound snarky, but after reading a plethora of repeat questions that were previously answered (and in some cases spurred lengthy, intelligent discussions), is it too much to ask folks to read through this thread or, if thats too overwhelming, use the handy dandy search this thread tool prior to posting?

On another note, zefie words cannot express how much I appreciate your skills, time and dedication to sharing your incredible developments for the optimus s. Thank you zefie.

Not snarky.. I agree mostly. It has gotten a bit cluttered as of late with new folks coming into the project (not that that's a bad thing!), and to ask them to read every single post of a 100+ page forum is a bit much (hell, I probably wouldn't even do it, which is why I'm glad I've been following the project since the beginning). That being said, perhaps a FAQ of sorts is in order. I'd be willing to get this under way if people generally support it. I think it would be good to have a resource such as that to serve as a resource for people just now getting into the project, and who don't have the time and/or patience to read the entire thread to get caught up to speed. This would probably involve sifting through the majority of this thread again in order to pull out the important questions and issues that have been raised over time, but I feel it would be well worth it. It would be a different approach than the issue tracker, which is used more by devs for improvement of the ROM. I just feel there is a user-friendly introduction and information resource that is missing from this, which has obviously gained much interest lately. Otherwise, we may be inadvertently putting up walls and keeping new followers out (who may actually have some good ideas for improvement, if only they were quickly and easily brought up to speed).

Anyways, that's my rant. Ideas?

EDIT: I just wanted to quickly address using the 'search' feature. I can see people not wanting to use it (or at least being hesitant to) if they are unaware what exactly to search for. It's understandable that people want a quick, easy, and direct answer without having to search for it themselves. I guess I just have some pity for the newcomers and want to make it as easy as possible for people to enjoy the awesomeness of gingerbread ;D

Said the same thing when I installed Rover. I ignored it, no issues yet...worst case is it makes the screen unreadable and you have to restore a backup or reflash...

has anyone got xionia kernal 010 to work iv tried to a few times to get it an it just stays on the sprint logo. can anyone help or is it still being worked on?

Hey guys, just wanted to post this. I ended up putting together a sort of FAQ for beginners to this ROM and this thread to make it easier for them. Now the most common information is all in one place without having to search around for it.

If zefie or a mod wants to place this link in the OP, that would be swell. Hopefully this will get the thread discussions more streamlined by filtering out the many questions newcomers have. Let me know if I left anything out, but for now I've done enough procrastination for this exam I have tomorrow..
