I couldn't replicate the error... maybe try clearing /system through Clockwork's built in function then flash?

I have the same slider, it sits behind the end call button while I'm in a call, but I thought it was just wallpaper though

I just installed the Rover theme, using the theme chooser.

[Theme] Rover's Mix [CM7] (Alpha) [Theme Chooser] Compatible - xda-developers

Download the APK, install it like anything else, and enable it in the theme chooser. Has a circle mod, and some pretty sweet widget icons in the notification tray...

wiped factory/data, cache, dalvik, formatted /system, ran debug-format zip, installed again...was gone until i received a call now its back all the time.

repeated twice and it still comes back after i answer an incoming call then its always there.

Does this actually work? Our CM7 is still odexed, and I think this only works on deodexed ROMs...

i'd imagine it would.. although i haven't tried it, so can't guarantee anything. forgot this wasn't deodexed. although, if i remember, TR wasn't deodexed and I was able to change some things with a theme. other aspects wouldn't change, and i think i was told it was because i had to start with a stock deodexed theme, which i wasn't using at the time. so that's why i'm thinking this would work if all you want to change is the battery icon. might be worth a shot anyway..

updated from 15 earlier today. works awesome.

odd thing i noticed...while in a call i have the normal options... end, mute, speaker....etc ...but behind them i have a round slider with a send and end option. first time i saw it was when i got an incoming call it was just the round slider till i answered. Then it went to the standard in-call screen in front of the slider. when i make outgoing calls its there too. it still moves but doesn't do anything. I see that it shows up as fixed in the issues tracker... any ideas...is it worth reloading the ROM? when i installed 16 i used the current procedures, the wipe zip, then wiped dalvik and then installed.

I posted about this before. It happens when the rotory lockscreen is selected. It does'nt show when you have lense selected

Loop

It keeps looping through the android with the skateboard scene on mine. Occasionally I get to the lock screen, but usually with no response to touch. If it does respond to touch it immediately tells me the keyboard had to be force closed and begins the loop again.

Any Suggestions?

first thing anyone will say is go back into recovery and wipe cache/davlik. if the problem persists, then try wiping data/factory in the recovery and reflash the rom. you might also have to grab the zip that was posted in this thread to fully wipe and format the system (sometimes some stuff is left behind and can cause this very issue.. i'd start with the others through, in the order i've posted here..

Slight issues. Instead of Sprint, it now reads Roaming Indicator Off. Also when selecting something it gives a blue square inside the normal selection thing. Not deal breakers though.

Is the lock screen widget for the stock music app supposed to be behind the lock slider? I can still use it, buttons to control music still work and are accessible.

From v15 i went to nRom...everything worked well....after v16 was available....i flashed and was stuck at LG logo.....multiple flash attempts, wipes no luck....

Thankfully i had nandroid backup of v15....restrored to that and then flashed v16....worked very well...

Just wondering if it was coz nRom also has kernel in the update zip

if it occurs again:

connect to pc
adb shell
# logcat | grep "Roaming Indicator Off"

and paste the lines.

I flashed it to the Optimus V, and it worked fairly well. Didn't get a chance to test everything as I returned back to stock so I could run a few tests and backup my APNs and a few stock apps prior to reflashing. Thanks for this Zefie!
