Can you use this ROM without having the VC update?
Anybody having a issue with Google maps and navigation giving a need data error? If so what radio /baseband are you on, I am on V9.
Thanks

GPS locks in GPS status app, and I have data, using it now.
Ah, sorry guys. I'm still having an issue with the non visual cm telling me I have a voicemail and can't clear the icon. It followed me from nightly 18 to 20. I've stopped G Voice service, and sent myself a vm using another phone. I am lost.
When I use my nand backup to return to ThundeROM then it stays away.
noticed today sending pics through text doesnt seem to be working, just contiunally says sending, I noticed on the issues thread mms was already listed and it said fixed so curious if im missing something
To answer my question VC baseband is needed for GPS inside Google navigation /maps. I flashed the 005 kernel and Google maps fired right up, but I lost auto rotate. Lol

I am on V9. GPS works great for me in maps and nav.
In fact I haven't had any bugs that seem specific to baseband.
I'm not really sure how my bad this is my first android phoneDid you file a bug? If not, it won't be looked at.

Just updated to VC, as far as I can tell there's no functional differences. Colors seem a bit better, but that could just be me being glad to have my theme back after awhile D:
I have gps working for me on v9 baseband. For a while it wasn't getting a location fix, but I just cleared cache/davlik a rebooted a couple times, and it started working. First fix took a while but after that it's perfect now. And for the record, I never checked the location information setting at the beginning, and my location is determined not using gps satellites (in the privacy settings). So it is possible. Just play around till it works I guess..
