Does Chrome lag on your M9?

I started using the HTC Internet browser and I like it. How do I sync my Safari bookmarks from my Mac? I used the HTC manager and enabled the sync option, but I don't see my bookmarks on my device.

Wait, you got HTC Sync Manager to work with your Mac? It crashes within seconds of loading for me. I like the HTC browser over all. It just seems a bit dated looking, and it doesn't play video the way I think it should either. You're also an iPhone user if I remember correctly. Does mobile Safari have a built in video player and that's why videos format for the screen? Is there a browser on Android that has a similar function? I've tried 4 browsers on Android, and none of them handle video well at all.

Yes, sync manager runs on my Mac. Not that I need it :)
Video in mobile Safari automatically goes full screen and no, there is nothing like that on Android. At least not on Chrome and other major browsers. I prefer the way Firefox works. Especially with YouTube videos it can be configured to open them in the YouTube app. I switched to Firefox for the moment. The HTC Internet app reloads tabs very fast. Firefox doesn't do that as much.

That's so frustrating. It seems like something that wouldn't be difficult to include in a browser. I'll give Firefox a try. I've used the HTC browser, Dolphin, Chrome, and Chrome Beta. Don't really love any of them. I'm thinking Safari spoiled me. I think it's a great mobile browser.

Feature wise, yes, Safari is the best mobile browser. Having said that, sometimes it freezes or says that something went wrong and needs to reload the current site.
Firefox is really great. It's not perfect, but it has add ons and is sleek and smooth. Yes, some videos do not work in Firefox, but the overall gain is more important. I am using the Beta version.

I have an M8 and ever since I got Lollipop, Chrome started lagging a lot.
In the Chrome settings there is a feature called Merge Tabs and Apps. I turned it off, rebooted the phone and no more lag. So far... ;)

I have it off but the lag is still there.

Didn't the stock HTC browser used to have an option to put the browser bar on the bottom to make reaching to type addresses easier? Maybe I used a different browser on my M8 along with the stock one. Can't remember.

I have noticed severe lag when scrolling heavy sites like theverge using Chrome and Chrome beta. I was beginning to think that my M9 had a performance issue, but then I used Firefox and the HTC Internet app and both experienced no lag whatsoever.
I would still like to use Chrome, but Firefox is so much smoother, I cannot ignore it.
My only issue with Firefox is that it doesn't play videos embedded in TheVerge website. Apart from that I prefer it to Chrome.
Any ideas how scrolling in Chrome can be improved? Are you also experiencing this lag in Chrome? Please test with sites like TheVerge. Thanks.

Yes, same issue with me.

You can see how it is. Here I've used M8 (my old phone, very smooth)

Here is my new M9 with factory settings (laggy, feels like I am getting my hair pulled)

I'd really like to use Chome. Are there anyone who has a solution to this problem? Because Chrome is the default browser with the M9, they must (or at least should be) aware of this if it something that occurs on every single phone they ship - and if it doesn't occur on every single phone, then I guess there's something wrong with our M9 phones.

It's not just the M9. I've read that it's doing that on many phones.

Has anyone turned off JavaScript in settings. It is so much better with it turned off. Some things won't work with it off but I can live with it.
