Re: Drew's CM7 builds (stable: 08/09/2011 | experimental: 08/08/2

First things first, the mod works great and I can't believe my dinky phone can handle all the animation/graphics. I just have a weird issue . I have a pair of wired headphones/mic that won't work with this new mod.

Worked fine with reborn ROM but, here, both headphones/mic don't work. When I unplug it, the conversation is fine.

It's just a basic wired headset. Also, how high can we go with the CPU settings under MAX CPU frequency? Grassy ass....

white lines

On the browser when you go to Facebook and hit search there is a glitchy thing of white bars can anybody else confirm this.........

Sent from my LG-LS670 using Tapatalk

I'm seeing this in Pulse newsreader as horizontal white lines across the article thumbnail pictures. I am running the second STABLE release. Saw it in the first stable release also. All other graphics, games, etc, seem OK.

Otherwise, awesome ROM!

Re: Drew's CM7 builds (stable: 08/09/2011 | experimental: 08/08/2

I just flashed the stable build of this last night after using Reborn for a couple months. I love Cyanogen, used it on my Evo when I had it, it's installed on my daughter's Hero and now it's working well on Optimuses. Thank you.

Now for my issue, I have a BlueAnt z9i bluetooth headset that this rom can not see when trying to pair it. The headset worked great with Reborn Rom. The phone sees and pairs just fine with my crappy Samsung WEP870 but it just won't recognize my BlueAnt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Peg

As with all ROMz, it depends on the phone. Mine will do 806 reliably, some Optimus S's will go faster, others won't go as fast. Start trying higher speeds gradually until you start to get random reboots, then you know you've gone too high.

What Kamron said but if you are using Set CPU (or any other applications to overclock) make sure you have "Set on Boot" Unchecked until you know what your phone can handle.

Re: Drew's CM7 builds (stable: 08/09/2011 | experimental: 08/08/2

So i have been experiencing excessive batt drain since going from stable 1 to stable 2, what used to get me aprox 14-16 hours with normal use for me is now taking me 9 hrs i am tiring to decide how to go about resolving this my first thought is to wipe the phone completely and re flash stable 2, then re-install everything, am i on the right track or should i be trying something else first? :'(

Drew does your flashing script do the debug system wipe thing that Xonia had for us to do before flashing a new version of his CM7?

i installed 002 over my stable 001 which had data2ext. once i flashed the data2ext back all my apps stayed.

For whatever reason, I tried again, but this time I dirty flashed all 3 (stable 002, gapps, and data2ext) and it worked!

Many thanks.

That's pretty awesome. How high did you over clock it (if at all)?

This rom will work on the LG Optimus V correct? Or is it just the S?

Dirty flash means you don't wipe anything while in recovery, you just flash the ROM.

And I just installed and it's telling me my phone has low storage? I came from Reborn and haven't had this issue and just seeing if it's normal.
And where do I find the file for changing my power buttons on drop-down menu from bluetooth to data? I can't find the widget.txt in system folder. Tried following this but not 100% sure on how it works.

A few bugs reports on Stable 7.1.0.2:

1. When I first flashed the ROM my market said it was downloading all the apps I had installed before the flash. Note I did do a full wipe

2. Camera cannot connect, it happens every once in a while, a reboot temp fixes it.

3. I can no longer pair my phone with my PC, which means I have to send pictures to myself in an email to get them off my phone (unless I am unlazy and use the USB cable). I haven't checked to see if my bluetooth pairs anything else yet, I test my headset and my brothers phone.

A Google+ account would fix that! When synced with your phone, it automatically uploads the pics you take to your Google+ account online! (If you set it up that way)

I did not know I could do that, I already have a G+, will try this now.

[MOD][PORT][4G Reboot Fix][3/27/11] Power Control Widgets for Sense - 3.70 OTA - xda-developers

To change the power buttons.. navigate to the Settings/cyanogenmod settings/interface/Notification power widget . Then add or subtract the widget buttons.

YOu can also add to your home screen via Power control widget. And make changes there as a separate widget.
