Im having a serious problem maybe someone can shed some light on this, I go to turn the phone off and it turns right back on without touching it. I have this phone and my daughter does to. Its doing it on both phones and before i installed this rom i used the debug zip and also wiped it myself. Now i have my phone stops charging as well mid charge and dies by the time i awake in the morning and my daughters did the same thing. Now i cant get my daughters phone to charge at all and is stuck off with the menu keys flashing on and off while on the charger. Nothing. Im about to flas back to nuborn rom which is more stable but i need to find out whats wong with my daughters phone.

I would do a full wipe, flash the debug zip and re flash what ever rom you want. It sounds like something got left behind.

If you want an updated CM7 build to use with ZVD radio look into [ROM][WIP] CM7 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 10-10-2011

Read the first post please. It is not by definition dead, it is in hibernation so to speak.

what base-band version am i probably using if i flashed it 2 months ago on the stable zvc or zvd

Just installed the latest stable build. Now I have no cellular signal. I can't make or receive any calls.
Everything else seems to be working great. But now I can't use my phone.

Any one else have this problem?

Any ideas?? Please..need HELP

What baseband are you running? Sounds like ZVH.

I'm not sure. I'm looking in Settings>About Phone
and it says "Unknown" under Baseband Version

What ROM were you running before flashing CM7?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I just now followed instructions at this thread

to return to stock. I'm now back to stock and phone is working again.

Would you recommend I root again first then try the instructions in this thread again?

I now have baseband version LS670ZVD

As long as you're 100% positive you are on ZVD, go ahead and flash it again. But I highly recommend using thekraven's CM7 builds as mine are pretty outdated at the moment.

Yup Im back. Really surprised I only had one post, you look me up elsewhere and its ridiculous.

anyway Ive been running the lastest stable build as of 2 months ago (that was fun converting to ZVD haha) and its been awesome. Using it now actually.

BUT a few weeks ago Ive completely lost mobile connectivity as far as data is concerned. Still get wifi if I enable it, GPS works, texting and calls work but I cant send or retrieve pictures through messaging and cant do anything that requires connectivity.


Looks like Ill hit up kraven's ROM but I wondered if anyone else got that recently and if its a radio issue or what. And yes data is enabled and yes it says disconnected.

Also if so what's the chances it would turn out bricking my phone? I really like this rom its the only one I've been able to push the cpu up to just below 800 something with only the random rebooting every so often that i don't have too much issue. can anyone help?

I don't think it would work! The kraven does not have the cm7 updater installed with his rom. And wiping everything is always a good thing to do when updating or changing roms.

Absolutely not. Thekraven's ROMs are not hosted in the type of ROM repository that the CM Updater requires. Just do it manually.

It's not hard at all if you've done a custom rom before either. I just "updated" it last night (kinda miss the skateboard boot screen but the seizure inducing one isn't bad either ) took all of 5 minutes just making sure I got it all right etc.

BTW I did solve the problem, of course it wasn't with the ROM it was my PRL and/or Profile just to clear that up.
