Re: Drew's CM7 builds (stable: 08/02/2011 | experimental: 08/06/2

I didn't think the OTA option was available in the stable version?

OK, ngmanis must be mistaken about which version he was running then! hehe

Re: Drew's CM7 builds (stable: 08/02/2011 | experimental: 08/06/2

There's a guy on YouTube showing off his phone and based on boot animation I'm pretty sure he's running this rom

Question: why I am I getting out of space errors trying to move Apps to my sd card?

No it does not make a nandroid backup automatically. But if enough people want that functionality I will add that in.

Maybe you could add it where you have to check a box for it to do the nandroid?
Or, am I asking too much? hehe
Sure was a nice update today though. Click, click, joy!

Why is my gps icon blinking?

Had this issue myself. Open maps and get a location fix then close maps and the GPS icon will go away. Traced it back to go weather on my phone. Removed it and flashing GPS went away. That was a few builds ago however.

My gps doesn't work...it keeps I'm in virginia? ?

Ok updating kills data2ext. Have to reflash for it to work again. Other than that no problems :)

So I went into recovery and simply flashed the .05ex build over .04ex and then flashed the data2ext v4...it froze on the cm 7 loading screen unless it was supposed to take several minutes...so I pulled the battery and it booted.

But the way I did it my data2ext was already enabled when I went to the terminal to enable it.

So now I'm curious about whether it will work if I do an update from .04 to .05 through the update app so I'm going to reflash .04 and try it with your data2ext issue.

Re: Drew's CM7 builds (stable: 08/02/2011 | experimental: 08/06/2

***Bug Report***
LG Optimus ls670
Build:
CyanogenMod-7.1.0.1.4
Build Id:
cyangogen_thunderc_LS670-eng2.3.54eng.drewwalton.20110803.192601test-keys
Running:
Data2Ext and have the update in the root of the sdcard

I downloaded the .05ex update and then I simply said I would do the update later and proceeded to do my backups and such. (after reading about a possible data2ext issue) I went back to cmupdater and went to the existing section and selected update-cm-7.1.0.1.5-signed.zip and selected apply update and it says *No MD5 found* "No MD5 File according to the Update was found. Do you want to apply it without checking?" and when I select "Apply" cmupdater force closes.

I am not sure if this is a bug, or if it is on my end, but I was able to replicate it several times, even after reboot

Anyone know of a way for the navigation volume to be louder. For instance when I'm listening to music on my phone and using navigation the music will stop to allow the navigation voice to be played. However even with the navigation volume turned up all the way there is no way to hear it. I also have the dsp settings on and its hooked to the aux in my car.

Re: Drew's CM7 builds (stable: 08/02/2011 | experimental: 08/06/2

the first page kinda confuses me maybe because im tired but is the newest stable version the one on the first page? stable-001?

Re: Drew's CM7 builds (stable: 08/02/2011 | experimental: 08/06/2

I think I need to re-flash the stable 001 (dirty flash?) version on top of the stable 001 that I currently have because my mms is not working for me. I can't receive any picture messages. When I do I click on the download button and nothing happens. I have stayed there waiting for 5 minutes and nothing ever happens.
Am I doing something wrong?

Also, I currently have data2ext installed if I re-flash (dirty flash) would I lose data2ext or would everything stay exactly the same?

I can confirm this...

You will have to redo data2ext as the script for that is on the system partition

Backup your data apps in titanium.
Go to mounts and storage from recovery and format sd-ext.
dirty flash the rom, gapps and data2ext zip, reboot.
Enable data2ext reboot again than restore your apps from titanium.
