Check the Optimus 2X theme I found at xda. I had to manually change the adw icons.

I've been using this for a few days. I like it! I didn't have to mess with icons since I don't use ADW. I prefer GoLauncher. ;)

And why would you want to switch from smartass to another governor anyway? Lol!

My phone works better with the On Demand governor. It is more responsive when waking up. Also, I seem to get better battery life.

I'll give that a GO :-$

I always tend to stick with the stock launcher on a ROM.

Set your minimum speed higher. Mine is set at 600mhz. It is very responsive.

Any word on the next release? I know there was mention of it being yesterday.

Yes I am aware that I totally missed it. I'm just extraordinarily busy recently and haven't had enough time to resync, rebuild and test things. I DO have a life outside of AC you know :p

I'm super busy getting prepared for the launch of a new Android-related business. It's super exciting but very time-consuming. No public details yet though.

There's nothing in our current build that we are missing. No need for a new build IMO...

EDIT: Cool! A business? Hmmmm.... I know people can make pretty good money just releasing paid apps and games. I know, I know, no public details but I wonder if you plan to go that direction. :)

No worries :) I just enjoy the work you do and like new shiny stuff for my phone. Life outside of AC???? I heard it was possible :p

But now that you mention this new business venture, I think am almost more excited for that to be made public than a new CM7 release.. You sir are amazing. Mucho Thanks

I'll say this and only this: it has nothing to do with app development.

I think it is safe to say you have gotten us intrigued and excited for this. can we ask for a possible time frame of your launch? we can throw an AC Forum launch party :p

I'm shooting for 2 weeks, sans any issues that could present themselves.

If everything goes as planned, I'll soon be able to get a proper nightly CM7 build server going.

Any word if the mic will be fixed when the headset is plugged in?

Any updates for Sprint Visual Voicemail? Or Voice SMS alternative

Does anyone else use Voice SMS? Being a fool (perhaps), I've spent upwards of six hours going back and forth trying to get the Sprint Visual Voicemail app to work. I don't care about the voicemail function of it (I use GV for that), my wife just wants to be able to send me voice SMS from her stock Sprint flip phone. She's very supportive of my ventures, but this was important to her and no matter how awesome I try to tell her Drew's latest CM7 build is, this is something important missing for her... and hence, for me... :-) I just keep getting the "Attention: Unable to play message." dialogue.

Is there a thread somewhere I can pay attention to for updates on this? Is SVV broken for Gingerbread in general or just CM7?

Possibly related problem: Titanium reverts of the MMS app from 2.3.5 to 2.2.2 fail. I assume this wouldn't fix Voice SMS, but it seemed related because the stock 2.2.2 MMS app appropriately handled the 9016 texts that accompany SVV voicemail notifications.

so apparently i have recently purchased a nexus s....at least that's what the email i got the other day would lead me to believe...

the only thing I've done with this phone the last 5 says was do a complete wipe and reinstall of stable 2....i had previously been running it as a dirty flash over ath3ns cm7...but it was being buggy so i did a clean install.....anyway. anything in this room that would cause google to think i just bought a nexus?

If you flashed the file for Netflix or edited your build.prop. lol. Happened to me a while back.
