Correct me if I'm wrong but mms is only through 3g?? I've never had success receiving/sending them through wifi
TO ANYONE EXPERIENCING MMS RELATED ISSUES:
I was having trouble sending/receiving mms on athenos cm7 this worked for me. Your going to want to root explore or file explore (etc) into /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases. Look for the file mmsms.db and delete it also delete the other files related. Reboot. Test. I'm almost certain it should fix your issues.

You no longer need to do this. Flashing the new rom after properly clearing all the proper areas will make it work!

Enjoying this rom, great work!
One thing though. It appears that the endcall API isn't functioning properly. No call blocker apps seem to work. For example, in Mr. Number, if you select the option "pickup and hangup" for a blocked call, the phone picks up, but doesn't hangup. Likewise, if you select "send to voicemail" the phone rings and rings.
This functionality did work in zefies build. Any ideas?

is anyone else's wifi acting alittle flaky? every so often, and it doesn't really seem to gave any relation to any event as far as I've been able to see,...the wifi just errors out and doesn't enable. in settings under wifi the enable check box will not check and under it will say error. it will take anywhere from 2 to 8 attempts to get it to enable. any one else? I'm working on catching this on a logcat but hadn't yet

Same. Seems I only get the issue when using the pulldown bar shortcut though. For me, going into settings > wireless and networks and hitting the check seemed to solve it the couple of times it happened.

Seems your issue is similar but a little different in the fact that yours happens under the wireless settings menu also.

Not sure what it could be. I attributed mine to me changing so many things that I couldn't simply blame it on the rom. Lol. I literally have changed so much about the phone since this rom that I'm very surprised that I haven't had many more issues.

You will need to reflash from a fresh wipe. After you wipe dalvik, cache, and system, flash this: http://db.tt/SI1Vwx2 then flash the ROM and then gapps and anything else you want to flash. This will properly wipe the system so that you don't experience anymore weird issues as you are experiencing.

Pro tip: Custom Recovery doesn't properly clear the system files and leaves leftover files that cause glitches and unexplained issues. Flashing this file fixes that.

I have experienced the turning on error noted above. However, what you describe is different. I have not experienced wifi dropping. Are you sure that your router isn't droppinv the signal and its not the phone dropping it?

Also, when the wifi or the 3g bars turn white, that just means that the phone is currently not synced to Google. You will notice that if you do a fresh flash a.d never login to a Gmail that they will continue to be white. This is why.

Your random revolts are definitely a concern. I would research why it is happening if it were my phone. More often than not, something in recovery wasn't cleared properly or some user changed setting is causing the issue. The rom does not reset by default when plugged into the computer normally. I would try starting over and trying to diagnose it. Sometimes its as simple as the apps that you backed up are from a different rom and restored with titanium backup and placed on this rom are causing issues. You will figure it out eventually. What I do when I experience issues: wipe everything, flash systemdebug file that I've posted everywhere now, lol, then download all my apps from the market so that I know they shouldn't cause any new issues. Just have some patience and you can figure this out. We wouldn't be anywhere with this rom if it wasn't for a lot of time and patience of the devs!




EDIT: LMAO. Just realized that when I typed 'reboot' it shows up as 'revolt'. It sounds much funnier that way so I'll leave it. Lol.

Maybe when Stable-003 comes out. I wil wipe all, reinstall from market the long way. Going back to a reborn nandroid for now.

When I go back to CM7, is there any data on the SD card I need to worry about?

Sure wish an LG based Gingerbread ROM was out.

I had to make a folder on my pc to hold all my nandroids, roms, zip files, sd card backups....ect!

Not stopped, just on hold for a little while. I just simply do not have the time currently to do a full resync, merge my changes and build. The whole process takes several hours.

This was discussed a few pages back, real life (and my soon-to-be business) are taking precedence at the moment. Don't worry, I'm not abandoning this at all

What do you mean real life? This is an outrage! Seriously, though, I upgraded to your ROM a couple of days ago and I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. You've done great work.
