Still $99 today on Radioshack.com. Might stay that way actually, RS' M.O is for their pre-xmas sales price often becomes their new regular price after the 1st.

From radioshack website for $99, and very excited to be getting an android finally. My old 8330 is SLOW. Anybody have any experience with RS online and how long they usually take to ship stuff?

Traded in a beat up BUT WORKING Blackberry Storm that belonged to my father (way too much phone for him...I swear I'm going to get that man a Jitterbug lol...He's got a Curve now...still way too much phone for him, smh.). So the Evo was $99...but with a $50 gift card that was given to me for Christmas, I came out of pocket even less. So double Yayyyy!!! Playing with it now, and I quite like it. Going to go charge, play, download apps, practice texting on this big ol' touch screen, etc. So glad I got involved here on Android Central! I sure wouldn't have known about this sale otherwise. Oh, and I got the LAST one. Another store called to ask if my store had anymore in stock while the young lady was setting up my phone. Lucky me, huh?

People on PreCentral that ordered with the standard shipping got it in anywhere from 2 to 5 days.

You should have it no later than Wednesday with regular shipping...My co worker paid for overnight and got it the next day.
I've waited since lunch to be eligible for upgrade to get so I guess a couple days won't kill me. BTW, I just checked their site and it's back up to $150. I still believe it's the cheapest price online with upgrade and no new service.

But, RS contacted me today about authorizing something with Sprint, and they emailed me at 9:05. Their office closes at 9 on Sunday. Looks like my device won't be shipped until tomorrow at the latest. Can't wait to get my hands on a giant Evo

If you were upgrading, they have to verify your eligibility with Sprint, so that's a standard email that they send.
And they use FedEx, so it wouldn't ship on a Sunday, anyway.
Yeah, you're right. It still irks me that they decided to send me that email (whether it was automated or not) 5 minutes after they close their lines.
Ah well, I'll get my phone sooner or later.

(too bad it won't....necessarily).For the future. If your eligibility date is the 1st of Jan (same as mine) you can go in two weeks early and upgrade. That is exactly what I did. Went in to RS on the 21st and got the 99.00 deal.
Actually I walked out only paying 49.99. I give them an old flip phone for the 99.00 deal and THEN handed them my Hero for 50.00 trade in. Best Christmas present to myself EVER.

they have some good deals as low as 119 but keep in mind you cant make any major changes to your account for 181 days are they will charge you a chargeback.
I just received my HTC Evo 4G today from the RadioShack deal. I have to say, I am quite excited, first 4G phone, first Android phone, too!
I am a bit disappointed at the 181 days deal, but I'll get over it with this phone, hopefully. I just wish they would hurry up and activate my phone

i called the number listed on the paperwork they sent...and sprint activated it...thats what it said to do lol...at least if your upgrading i cant remember what it said for new customers.
I am upgrading. I called the number on the paper it came with, spoke to a representative, and they said that within the next 12 hours it will be activated. Seems a bit silly when it literally takes minutes from Sprint's website.
wow thats crazy...i called them on my blackberry that i was upgrading...they asked for the msid or whatever it was...had me turn on the evo...let it do its updates...hung up the blackberry...she called me back within 2 min and the evo rang lol...i was up and runnin within 5 min of me signing for the the package from fedex lmao
Yeah, I had mine activated in minutes by an online chart rep, because I didn't have another phone to use to call.
