what do i need to say to sprint to get them to move my upgrade up from 1/01/11 to immediately?
Tell them your current phone is having problems and dropping calls. You just want to upgrade and stay with Sprint.
We have luck doing this in the stores. They will generally move the upgrade within 2 weeks if your current phone is no longer working.
When I saw this deal I had to take advantage of this. I went to best buy and they actually priced matched the online price of 99 even though mine was an upgrade
I am very happy with my Evo. I came from a blackberry, so its going to take me a while to get use to it, but i love it!!
So why are they selling them for $99 bucks. EVO2 on the way after CES?
From what I understand It's pretty rare that they do, I think they give some sort of "spending limit" on the accounts with funky credit. (i assume that's why you ask...)
Buy the EVO now. If something better ships at CES, buy that. But bear in mind, CES is where products are annouced not delivered. Deliveries will hit from March to June.So why are they selling them for $99 bucks. EVO2 on the way after CES?
So how long is the online deal good for?
Is that a limited promotion or do they have that deal running all the time? Unfortunately I'm not eligible for an upgrade until the 1st and I would like to see what drops at CES as well.
*edit* I just saw the deal on their website it ends the 24th
Just left my local shack and the manager said their extending the offer another week. I called this morning to talk about exchanging my Optimus to take advantage of the offer and he said no problem but when I got their tonight they have no more Evo's left, have to wait till next week now.
i'm in the same boat unfortunately...not eligible for upgrade until the 1st. i hope they'll remember the after-christmas shopping crowd.
Call customer service. Tell them your phone is broken. Screen is going out or something like that. It's very common to get the upgrade up to 2 weeks early. They should be able to fix your account so you can visit a store to buy an upgrade.
We do this a lot in the store for customers. I'm not sure if Radioshack has access to Sprint's National Sales Support phone reps or not.
