FedEx Sucks

You OBVIOUSLY missed the numerous tech sites that posted the issues being reported on those lucky ppl that first received their phones and verizon was unable to activate due to the phone not being in the system yet. Issue was resolved by end of day.
SOME phones weren't in the system or had problems. It wasn't everyone because others received their phones at the same time and had no problem activating.

Looking at the forums, there were only a small number of people that had issues activating, most had no problem and were up and running within minutes.

My phones were shipped and picked up by FedEx last Thursday AM. The packages were out for delivery today. I was home whole day and the FedEx truck didn't arrive. I had to go out for 30 minutes. After I come back and check the tracking, it said the FedEx attempted to deliver 10 minutes I left home.

Shipping from PA to NY takes 1 day UPS ground guaranteed. And that being the case, it would have been delivered last Friday which I was home all day. But this 2nd Day FedEx service chose to let my packages sit in their sorting facility for days and decided to delivery today.

Now I have to make a trip to pick up my phones from their FedEx warehouse this evening. I don't want them to redeliver tomorrow...I bet they will come again right after I leave home. Might as well squeeze thru traffic jams today and call it a day.

Just a question, how do you decide which location the package goes to? Do you literally just give that address as your mailing address?

I generally choose the FedEx hub because they get the packages first and they are sorted there and sent to their final destination. And yes, If the shipper allows you to specify the shipping address, you simply use the FedEx locations address for shipping. Just be sure to add "Hold At Location" in the address somewhere. Also make sure it is shipping Express/Overnight.

I guess FedEx wasnt gonna let me pick up mines. Instead, they just went to my neighbor's house, had her sign, and left it there, all without me letting her know and her being confused as heck as to why my packages are being sent there. Awesome.

Either way, I have my phone now so I'm happy

I don't know if FedEx sucks or not, but I don't see how you can be in the shipping business and send a package to Harrisburg, PA from West Chester, PA via Newark, NJ.

I'll have to look at a map again, I'm sure it makes sense on some level.

Did you ever look at how phone calls are routed? There needs to be a central hub someplace for FedEx and apparently it's either in Newark or Memphis. They're the ones paying for the fuel and the sorting time so as long as your package gets where it needs to in the promised time I personally couldn't care if they shipped it from the US to Europe and back again.

Now you're being silly! Who in their right mind would send something to Europe if they wanted it to go across Pennsylvania???

You made me LOL!
