Flashed phone, update revert to normal?

I got my phone flashed to cricket a couple months ago. It has baseband zvc. I use the stock rom. Now I want to use the reborn 2.0 rom, which requires. A newer base band, if I update will it revert the flash and set phone back to cricket?
