im currently running bamf remix 1.8 froyo. how do i upgrade to ginger bread so i can flash bamf forever?

bamf forever is gingerbread...just need to make sure you have a gb compatible radio (MR2 or later)

coming from bamf remix 1.8 do i need to dl from 1.0 or can i just dl 1.7? Also is it that much better that i would notice a significant difference. sorry still kinda new at this... oh and also whats all this talk about NFL moble? is it free? just wondering cus i m a huge football fan. Thanks!

I came from Das bamf sense 3.0 and forever absolutely blows it away. The gingerbread base is now the same as the ota but with less broken stuff and sense 3.0 thrown in. NFL mobile is free for 4g devices and is fully functional. You can skip directly to 1.0.7 as long as you have a compatible radio and do the proper wiping.

2) Do i have to delete my toolkit? (supposedly possible security reasons)

If you don't have the extras folder on your SD card, don't worry about it. The toolkit will be gone after you wipe the phone before the Forever install. It's been replaced by BAMF settings.

Sorry, I misread this the first time. I'm guessing you have the MR2 radios? (1.170.605.0, 1.39.00.0627r)

You can check by going into about phone under settings, then software info, more, then baseband

I'd recommend upgrading to the latest radios (MR3): 1.48.00.906w_1, 0.01.78.0906w_2

It will wipe dalvik for you. You shouldn't need to wip[e, if you note what it says at the bottom about Mail.

Check changelog.

Yes and yes. Once everything is installed rename the last one as well so you don't get stuck installing every time you go to bootloader.
