At first no, but then I went and installed the gingerbread radio version 2.6.35.10-ge8d3693, but the mobile network option is still greyed out.

It also says my software version is 2.11.605.3

I only flashed the LTE radio, not the CDMA, do I need to do both?

Yes, flash both an LTE and a CDMA radio.

Go into Manage Applications and try clearing data for that app. That has worked for me in the past when I had same problem with another app.

when i find "peep" in my applications, its there but not highlighted like all the others. so i cant clear the data or anything... any ideas?

It would be great if you could come back and post if that is still true in a week or two. I'm also curious....did you ever have data drops on stock rom?

I have a theory (probably simple-minded) that these drops occur when you enter a LTE zone with a signal that is very weak or nonexistant. I find I am most likely to have a data drop requiring a restart right after I leave an area I know has no signal
Perhaps.if I waited 20 or 30 minutes the data would come back. The question is what is going on in the phone during the 10 or 20 minute period when I am back in a good signal zone yet the phone picks up no data?

I would say the problem seems to have pretty much gone away. I havent been on the stock rom for several months. I flashed my first froyo rom in May I believe and didnt have any issues until the last Gingeritis 3d rom that was released. I finally gave that up because of the camera issue. This current 1.0.7 Forever rom has been rock solid since I flashed it over a week ago now. The data drops are probably a big reason Verizon pulled the update until they can sort out the radio to play nicely with their oem rom. Fortunately, I dont have to depend on them to fix that due to the awesome dev community behind this phone.

As far as being on the fringe of an LTE zone, I live smack dab in the middle of DFW. I never saw the 3G icon once until about a month ago when the problems started. Made me wonder if it was more of a network issues rather than my phone.

Been running 1.0.7 since last Friday. Love this ROM. Much thanks to the devs.

There are only a couple of issues I've found. I'm not sure if these are inherent to GB, or not. I've not seen mention of the first two: 1) Settings/Calls/Voicemail Settings. After a reboot, it wipes the phone number info I've stored for this. Didn't have this issue, on Froyo. I like to put my pin there, so I can just tap the notification and it dials VM and enters my pin after a pause. 2) Upon booting to the homescreen, no icons or widgets are drawn. In fact, they will not draw until I actually touch the screen. This could possibly be to a couple of widgets I have running at startup though.

The last issue didn't seem to start until after I tried out Imo's 3.8 kernel. On that kernel, I noticed my battery life nosediving even in standby. Before I flashed that kernel, I was getting pretty nice battery life (wiped battery stats after installing ROM). I flashed back to the stock kernel. The past two days I've monitored it and it's still nosediving even in standby. Example, today in a period of 45min I read 2 and wrote 1 emails. Battery dropped 12% in that period of time. I do not have BT or GPS enabled and I also have all autosyncs turned off (facebook, mail, etc...). I'm going to try wiping battery stats, again. I'm pretty sure that I've got something running that I don't realize yet. I did notice 3 instances of Calender running, under services.

I just wanted to see if anyone has seen the first 2 issues I've listed.

Love this rom but have a few issues.

I have noticed two issues. (I did search for "youtube" in this thread with no results returned)
1.) Youtube - Seems to be flashing green for all video's every few frames.
2.) Car Dock - Along with the stock GB from Verizon, this rom does not initiate the Car Dock.

Does anyone else have these issues?

I am on 1.0.6 right now and battery life has been less than stellar compared to heir RC4.9 I was running previously. Did a battery stats reset and everything. Woke up today had 51%, turned 3G on downloaded 2 apps and played a game for 5 minutes and was down to 32% within a half hour. So any ideas?

Maybe this just doesnt jive with my phone so I will be updating to 1.0.7 today and see if things are different. I will make sure I do the flash with full battery or whatever that is for my phone.
