GB Rom Leaked for HTC EVO

Hey guys, just read this on XDA. Just gonna copy and paste.

Btw, anyone worried about NOT being able to do a Nandroid after this- download EVO_Radio_2.15.00.11.19_WiMAX_27167_R01_PRI_NV_1.90_003.zip and if you don't like using this ROM, use that combination to reflash to radios that work with Froyo and restore your Nandroid.

Quick Steps:
1. Recovery
2. Flash what I posted
3. Nandroid restore

Thanks go to "teejay89" from XDA for that. :-)

anyone try with current radios yet???

i'd really hate to give up my wonderfull battery life.

Does it? I still haven't checked it out yet but I saw someone's posted screenshot of the shutdown screen that doesn't have any reboot options. If it does, sweet!

just dont forget that its a "leaked test version" so its prob the early stages of gingerbread update for the evo and the sense hasnt just been updated yet.....:)

The installation keeps aborting after wiping all. I'm using clockwork recovery 2.5. Should I use a newer version? It gave me probs in the past...

Give "Amon_Ra v2.3" a try. A lot of people have much better luck with it, just flash it through "ROM Manager" under Alternate Recovery. You'll have to make a new Nandroid backup after you flash it though. After that wipe and flash away. :D Also the only thing I've noticed that isn't working is the brightness control, tried it both ways. Through settings and through "Power Control". No worries though, thing is like butter.

Sorry if I missed this. A little confused if we established if the radios work as-is or is there a custom radio that needs to be flashed?

so there is no way to get the leak without being rooted? Sometimes, when these leaks are available, they'll eventually have a rom installer type of link so that a stock evo reboots with the update...do developers make these or are these type of leaks done by HTC/Sprint?

gingerbread requires clockword 3.05 think it is. least i had to update when i tried the cm7. which is based off gingerbread.

amon works though.

I have never been able to use Amon for some reason. I flash the alternate recovery then I reboot into recovery the manual way? Every time I end up in clockwork????

I haven't flashed any radios, just Nan'd, wiped, then flashed the zip. Here is the setup after the flash, everything seems be working fine. :)

Nope, no way to get this on an unrooted phone. It's a rooted ROM that has to be flashed in recovery.
