Holy jeez this phone is freaking amazing (Update: Review LIVE!)

Re: Holy jeez this phone is freaking amazing

32GB Silver is available right now.

Re: Holy jeez this phone is freaking amazing

whelp. That just about settles it. Looks like I made the right decision returning my moto x pure for the nexus 6p. If it wins Jerry's seal of approval that's really all I need.

To those worried about screen burn in. Not 100% sure this will work but it seems like using the color inversion option in accessibility for a bit should "balance" the wearing of pixels?

Re: Holy jeez this phone is freaking amazing

If you see burn in issues right away, send the thing back and get a new one. Highly doubt whoever you bought the phone from will give much of a hassle in a reasonable period, if that even happens. Don't lose sleep over it.

I sure can't wait for this phone, especially seeing something like this posted from Jerry!

Re: Holy jeez this phone is freaking amazing

I was going to get this phone for my bother for Christmas... on a wait list... no stock.
I wish they would do like Apple and let you order it no matter what, but warn you of expected date incase you don't want to wait for it.

Still waiting on mine :(

Please share some pictures and the review!

BTW, where do I download Kangaroo-kernel-9001_experimental_v0.311-OVERCLOCK-YOLO?

Nice review. Last year I switched from Android (GS3) to iPhone. I really love the iPhone experience and had no intentions of returning to Android. This 6P really has me reconsidering that. After paying 749 + tax for an iPhone 6, a 64GB 6P for 549 is looking like quite a steal.

Great review!

But the big question, How does it work in the bathroom? Does it offer decent 1 handed methods while deep in the trenches? Or is this a solid to hander to make sure you dont drop it while on the can? I need to know this. I spend a lot of time in there with a princess stomach.

Great review Jerry... mega kudos! My GF and I both have 64G with fedex scheduled to be delivered tomorrow!!! Can't frickin' wait man! After researching all of the charger stuff I just broke down and ordered the two port type-c charger from google as it actually allows you to plug two new phones into it with your own type C cables of whatever length you want!

I still can't get over how perfect this phone is. If I really had to pick for negatives then I would say the speakers are going to become a dust collector which is a real hate of mine. Also the screen is slightly on the warm side but i think thats just personal preference. Nothing major though.

All in all I can tell this is going to be the best phone I have ever owned, its just amazing.

Sqee.... Have had a couple hours with mine and loving it so far! I loved the large screen of my nexus 6 but this is just slightly smaller to make it more manageable when holding.

After reading the review all I have to say is "Google, take my money already"

Several of us tried to give Google our money several weeks ago. If only Google would decide to take our money and give us a phone!

I'm a big fella, with really strong and nimble hands. Wheelchairs are great for exercising your hands :P

I can one hand the 6P much easier than I could the "old" 6. It's a good bit more narrow, which makes a lot of difference. A normal person, with normal non-superwheelchair hands will probably need to two-hand it most of the time.

It's just like using a Note 5, if you've ever used one. Not exactly the same size, but close enough to use the same way.
