Best Nexus ever? Hell yes it's the best nexus ever. If yours is on the way, get some napkins ready for all the moisture that's gonna happen when it gets here.

Ordered mine through Huawei 10/19, estimated ship early Nov. I was doing fine waiting until this post, thanks for winding us all up, Jerry!

Yes.. but is it better then HTC's iPhone clone, the A9??? I'm just wondering if the A9's 2150mah battery will be better than the 6p's 3450mah battery. /sarcasm. My brain is getting spongy from all this waiting.

I'm loving all of these great reviews, but the Android Police one got me worried about the screen burn-in. They said they have noticeable burn-in after only a week! I hope to hear that you don't see any burn in!

I hadn't read that review but I just have read it and potential burn in is a concern for me and that review doesn't help, I know lots of people on here will say it isn't an issue and don't worry about it but it is stopping me ordering one when it's back in stock of course

Jerry, knowing how much you loved the 2013 Moto X form-factor/size, expressed as recently as the podcast a couple weeks ago, this preview of your review pretty much seals my decision on the phone to replace my 2013 Moto X.

I was (am?) having an internal debate between the 6P and the Moto Pure...but, if the 6P gets Jerry drooling, it definitely tips the scales that way.

Man, you can't go wrong either way. I had the Pure Edition and it's awesome. I sent it back to try the 6p, but I miss it. I think the Pure Edition has a much smaller profile except regarding thickness. If the price difference is a lot, go with the Pure. If not, go 6p.

I would have bought it no hesitation otherwise, but it's too physically big for my pockets. I'm only a small chap at 5'5" tall so my pockets aren't massive either.

Just got this phone today, got rid of my nexus 6. It is amazing. The build quality is ridiculous! It doesn't get more premium than this.

Little thing but I hated the vibration on the 6, it was way too aggressive and sounded tinny. As soon as I rooted the 6 I turned it off straight away. The vibration on the 6p is perfect, subtle and gentle. It's the little things eh?
