How do I stop my voice text from repeating everything twice?

Every time I voice text, my phone repeats the sentence or paragraph twice. Anyway to avoid this annoyance?

My Nexus 5 is doing the same thing. It repeats numerous times. Happens when I use SwiftKey and Google voice..

It gives every variation of what it thinks you said.

It happens with or without wifi, I don't have to speak more than 10 words. It happens with 4 words also. Only since update I am on samsung s5. Not just messenger. Any program that I use the microphone from the keyboard on it happens.

None of these "fixes" work. It is a server problem with google. I confirmed this earlier because my S7E is upgraded to Nougat on VZ with Google Now set up, and my fiancee' s HTC M10 on VZ is on marshmallow with no Google Now capability. Both phones have the issue.

My issue cropped up with no Wi-Fi on, and I tried disabling the "ok google" feature. VZ doesn't support enhanced LTE to my knowledge so that's moot.

Also you need to speak a sentence with at least 10 words to trigger it, so if your using less than 10 words it will appear to be fixed.

I just updated several apps a couple days ago

Lastly I retrained my voice through the google app and so far so good. ;-)
I am going to update the apps I rolled back and see what happens.

Im having the same issue. Ive uninstalled the google app update. Reinstalled it, uninstalled again. Power cycled phone. Nothing is working.

Im on a samsung S7 edge running Nougat 7.0

Help please!

Google is probably trying to patch security holes the CIA and NSA were taking advantage of and messed something up

I've tried everything this thread suggests (uninstalling, retraining google voice, rebooting, etc.) and it's still happening to me. Any other suggestions?

I just finished updating all the apps I rolled back and what I did fixed the issue on my Pixel XL. YMMV

So, I have the S7 edge. This evening speech to text just started replicating everything by at least 3X's.

Happy to report that a few minutes after disconnecting from wifi that the issue stopped! Thanks Kevin!

no more repeated text. I have no idea if it's a coincidence or not but I started having this problem shortly after activating the Visual Voicemail app.

I have a Galaxy S5. It gives me all the options that autocorrect would offer. Not exactly repeats. For instance:

Anyhoo... I subscribed to the thread, so hopefully when a fix gets mentioned, I'll be alerted. I hope that's how this works.

When you are out and about it will not happen it only occurs when Wi-Fi is enabled
