Same issue.

I answered my own question, I believe. A backup utility like Titanium is designed to backup to the SD Drive. If I'm running off the SD Drive, that's putting all the eggs in one basket. So I simply used WinImage to create a image of the SD Drive. Again....all of this has been an interesting experiment. My hope is, now that the SDK for 3.0 is out, work can continue by those who REALLY understand. For example, I would love to include my corporate email, but without Google Calendar, there is not much sense. Many thanks to those with far more knowledge than I have, and thanks to the clear instructions my Color Nook is running Honeycomb and the Market Place is alive and well and downloads work fine. But before I go any further I wanted to backup what I've got (in case I do something dumb), so I downloaded Titanium from Market Place and I'm stuck. What I believe is the case is this: I'm able to root from my PC using ADB (I can get to "shell"). However, if I attempt to SU using ConnectBot installed on the Nook, I don't have permission direct from the Nook (only through ADB). So the question is this: How do I get "rooted" direct on the Nook so Titanium, Superuser, and BusyBox can be installed.....or do I need to sideload these applications from my PC onto the SD Chip. As a note, I work alongside a group of UNIX developers....but I'm the old guy in Operations at our company. I told them I wanted to "struggle" a bit and they go "Dude...we're here to help." I'd rather try to figure this out myself, with a bit of help from this forum.
I didn't have that problem. In fact I didn't even get the question. It just wrote the entire Card image. Wish I could help.I've got a question for you. When you backed up the SD card with Winimage, which partition did you tell it to backup? I did this yesterday, but I couldn't do the whole SD card, just individual partitions.
I successfully completed the steps to get honeycomb onto my 16gb Class 6 Micro SDHC card and it boots up and runs fine on the NC, but the wireless isn't working properly. It'll scan for wireless networks, find the one I'm trying to connect to and it will be at full strength, but as soon as it starts trying to obtain the IP address, it loses all connectivity, is anyone else having this issue? I never had this issue until I inserted the SD card and began running honey comb. Now it's just in a continuous loop of trying to obtain the IP address, then re-scanning, trying to obtain the IP address, etc.
Has anyone else had this problem or how can I go about fixing it?
I'm having a similar problem. Before trying to connect, my NC says the signal is strong, but after it fails the display says "out of range". It worked when I first installed Honeycomb on the SD card and still works fine when I run the rooted stock firmware. I made a backup image (when it was working) and will try that.

I'm trying to use winImage to restore the honeycomb img file to the micro SD card, but once I open the file and tell it to restore the virtual disk image, the drive list it populates is empty, any help with this one?
