I was able to get to ZVH but now im stuck on the ./rage part. I cant seem to get the # to appear. I've ran ./rage multiple times but still nothing...

I know i was asking about linux earlier (work computer)... but i might have it figured out...

It is the same deal as linux. Just put all the files in your adb tools folder on mac and type the command in install.bat by hand. Alternatively copy the files *within* the copy2sd folder to the top-level directory of your sdcard (there should be no mention of "copy2sd" on your sdcard) Then just follow the rest of the instructions, skipping install.bat and substituting the appropriate directories for your installation.

did u run the update.zip first? (small one showing up as an error 7 or whatever when u try to use it)

are you using V9 stock recovery or VD ?

I was able to do that... i updated the "Android SDK Platform-tools" and was able to run adb.

My issue is updating my PATH enviornment variable to execute adb from any location.

since the highest file system on my mac is not a c drive, i'm not sure what command i need to type in order to install.bat.

Sorry if this is a noob question. just started messing with the android sdk about a week ago.

i think im using stock

i just looked over the command prompt and im getting this message when i run install.bat (Step 6), "cannot open 'copy2sd/000root/rage' : no such file or directory. but it says 8 files pushed 0 files skipped. so i turned on usb storage to see the 000root file on my sd card and i see the rage file but it is 0 kbts

try and redownload and start over, turn off antivirus first, as some remove that or make it useless

i have, and i also tried manually moving(drag and drop) the rage file and i get "Cannot copy rage: Access is denied"

i think i got it, i just extracted the rage file directly to my sd card. turns out it was my computer acting funny

I don't have a Mac so don't want to say this will definitely work, but try this:

extract the "copy2sd" folder from zvhroot.zip and place in your adb directory

/Users/bperfetti/Downloads/android-sdk-mac_x86/platform-tools/

so the result should look like this

/Users/bperfetti/Downloads/android-sdk-mac_x86/platform-tools/copy2sd

Then from a shell prompt

cd /Users/bperfetti/Downloads/android-sdk-mac_x86/platform-tools/
adb push copy2sd /sdcard/

The wierd thing is... i know i have the new lcd display and i used drews OScontrol center to flash v9 and somehow i could see my display? Wtf im confused btw you should put that JUST use xionias intructions, cuz iwas all draggin and droppin lol and i know my way around too. :O

Hi All,
I have searched this thread but haven't found anyone having this issue. I have rooted my phone successfully but trying to install custom recovery and getting this error.
/system/bin/sh: Can't open install-xionia.sh

I did ls -l but i can't find the xionia.sh file any where. Can someone please help.

Just use xionia instructions. That doesnt put xionia on it. Eather they forgot the file or were just trying to remind you but idk

i am having an issue. ihave my phone currently rooted with superuser on my phone but when i get to the step in the adb shell "su" i get permission denied. what do i need to do to gain su permission?

did you accept the SuperUser permission on your phone? it will ask for su and pop up on your phone. also make sure that your phone is not on the lock screen. :O
