Anyone can hold a phone (released or not) while someone snaps a pic. Unless it's a phone with a valid VZW receipt taped to it and blown up so that we can all see the date and all the pertinent particulars (minus your private account number stuff) pics don't mean diddly to me.
I don't doubt they're all playing w/the phone but that still doesn't mean it's confirmed as released and sorry to the OP but this still qualifies as a he said/she said tidbit that we've all heard before. Confirmed = news bulletin of some sort direct from VZW, or they're on the shelves or online for sale (pre-orders don't count) or I have one, bought and paid for in MY own hand.
I'm raining on your parade cuz I refuse to be needing an umbrella myself at the end of the week if it doesn't happen. Sorry but my faith in its release faded drastically 3-4 weeks ago.
If it happens and you request an apology for hurting your feelings I will happily oblige - just PM me that its time for me to step up to the plate and I will do it for everyone to see. I would not mind being wrong one single bit.

Yeah ... as much as everyone would love for it to be true, "Confirmed" does not equate to "Official". Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I think everyone in the forum has become a little numb to stories like this.

Someone posted in another thread that Verizon might announce after 5 to get a start on trading for tomorrow. Doubt it, but there is still a chance
On a positive note I have seen 4 yes 4 thunderbolt commercials today. That can only be a good sign, Eh?? And I really hope this phone gets a good signal, because my droid incredible signal BLOWS!!!!!!! LETS GO TBOLT!!!!!!
