HTC U11 Preorder Thread!

I placed a order yesterday but haven't received a email confirmation yet. How long does it take for HTC to send out confirmations?

That happened to me for my first day preorder, I then again placed order next day and got charged, got confirmation from both PayPal and HTC immediately. After that cancelled the earlier order.

It shows up on my Paypal account as pending but when I try to look that order up on HTC it's says order not found, so I'm confused. I sent HTC a email but haven't heard back from them yet.

When I pre-ordered the Ultra I got my email but I could not find my order on the website. I called D/R and they assured me my order was valid and it was delivered on time.

I pre ordered a silver. Never had a HTC and never felt the urge in the last few years. The u11 however looks wonderful on paper.

Yeah for sure there will be few coupons like every year and I bet you will be able to snag one for $500 if you wait a month or two.

I'm hoping HTC gives a good freebie away again like they did for the 10. The 10 they gave out free extra USB c cables and a clear case and tote bag for some. Since this is the 20th anniversary for HTC hoping they give something out for early adopters again. Can't wait for mine to ship. Saw another video of the 11 vs 10s external speakers and damn the speaker is so so much better. Might order a extra USB c to 3.5mm cable once it ships to have 2 since u get one.

Nope.. Because already had a taste of blue with U Ultra

Both are great colors, you will have more exclusivity with the silver since Sprint sells only blue and silver is available only in unlocked models in the US. If they sell in any meaningful numbers which I realistically doubt they will, there will be more blue ones out in the wild than silver.

So what I'm saying is stick with silver

Haven't received a reply to my email yet but I just finished a chat session with HTC and they said the reason I haven't received a email confirmation yet is because I have been charged yet. I'll get a confirmation once they charge me and ship it. So at least that tells me the order went through. However I think they should send out email confirmations so people like me don't sit and wonder if the order went through. I've pre-ordered plenty of products before and always gotten and email confirmation right away.

Both are great colors, you will have more exclusivity with the silver since Sprint sells only blue and silver is available only in unlocked models in the US. If they sell in any meaningful numbers which I realistically doubt they will, there will be more blue ones out in the wild than silver.

So what I'm saying is stick with silver ??????

All the carriers but Sprint have the silver option.

Sprint has black too, but I went with blue because it's my favorite color. I'll be happy with my two Echo Dots, but extra USB C called would be nice.

Thank you for the update! Hmm, that's very odd that they wouldn't send a confirmation email like that. You'd think they would so these things wouldn't happen. But alas, at least everything is working out!

I know what you mean! HTC will give an adapter with headphones in the box, though. I was very happy to read that, because I wouldn't be considering it otherwise.

No Uh Oh protection is not there for the U11. They removed that incentive in order to keep the price down according to HTC.
