Just to let anyone know that is following the thread or trying to figure this out. I called BB and they confirmed they cannot change a business plan. He said I could not upgrade my phone through them because of the business account with VZW.
Do you just have the just the one phone on the account? Do you have any dumb phones or tiered data lines on the acco. t that you can transfer the upgrade to and then order an upgrade?

For those who haven't read the Best Buy thread in this forum there is a way to get a new phone and keep unlimited data.
There was no hassle except waiting for my phone. It took them essentially two weeks to ship (probably due to the holidays) but there really was no hassle at all.
So essentially you go to the best buy site, order the phone you want, make you keep everything the same. Just in case keep all screen shots and print outs.
Please let me know if there is something that needs clarification. Thanks!

recieved the device
put the sim from previous device into new
called activation #, activation successful
checked vzw, data plan changed... 2 gig.
called rep, confirmed it was changed to a 2 gig and offered me 6 for the same price...

I tried last Friday and got the "problem" email from BB, I finally get my update reset last night and tried again, the first time i did not have a billing password set up with VZW, and this time i went in and set one up before i did my 2nd order, it has been almost 24hr sense i placed my order and still no "problem" email,
So you might keep that in mind, if you dont have a billing password set up, do so before you place your order.
Did you have to call Verizon to get your upgrade reset or did it happen automatically? I just cancelled my first BB order last night so I'm waiting for my Verizon account to go back to month to month/ upgrade eligible.
OK everything went as planned. It was easy to switch/activate with a new SIM through the website. I checked my account today and still have unlimited data. Thanks all! Please let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to answer.

So come to find out. When going through the steps to activate the phone it activates with the new sim. This is most likely what caused this whole thing.
I still have my primary phone to mess with...
Are sims plug and play? Do i even need to bother activating?
Quick question (well, maybe not so quick)
Line 1 - UDP with Galaxy S3 (no upgrade yet)
Line 2 - 2 GB plan with Razr Maxx (upgrade available)
I ordered a new S5 with Line 2 upgrade, it will be delivered tomorrow. I want to put S5 on Line 1 and keep UDP, and put the S3 on Line 2 and put Razr out to pasture.
Questions are :
1 - when the phone comes in, do I just take the Sim Card from S3, put it in S5 and turn on S5 and start using it? Do I need to do some sort of activation on it?
2 - Do I then put the Razr Sim (from line 2) into the S3 and use it as line 2, or do I take the Sim that came with the S5 and use that in the S3? If I use the "virgin" S5 card in the Razr, do I need to do an activation on it?
3 - Anything else that I need to do to ensure I keep UDP on line 1?
