Re: [Instruction] How to Keep Unlimited Data on Verizon
The short answer is that I seriously doubt you will be able to get two unlimited data plans. Your only hope for something like that is to purchase a plan off eBay and hope to sneak it through the AOL department at Verizon. Otherwise, there is no way of getting an unlimited data plan from Verizon unless you are a certain type of business customer.
As for porting your numbers, that's an easy thing that can be done online or in-store.

Here is my current situation:
I am on the NATIONWIDE TALK SHARE 700 plan w/ 2 phones.
Line 1 (my wife) - Samsung Galaxy S5 with UDP - Contract end date: 06/25/2016. I did the purchase via Best Buy last year and kept the UDP by doing it online and cutting my SIM.
Line 2 (my parents) - Non-Smart phone with no data plan
What I want to do:
I want to get either a Galaxy S6 (or Active if it comes out soon) or an LG G4 for me AND, if possible, an iPhone 6 for my daughter. I would rather pay the monthly "Edge" fee rather than buy them outright at full price but would also commit to a new 2 year contract to get the cheaper one time pricing.
Mine would be a ported in # from Boost Mobile and my daughter's would be a net new phone all together although I could set her up on a new Boost mobile account and then port that over if there is a better way to port than activate new. I am ok switching #'s around for the 2 existing lines and my ported in line (they are all just one digit off from each other: XXX-XXX-XXX7, 8 & 9)
I would like to work it in such a way as getting UDP for all 3 smart phones and either add a replacement non-smart for my parents or just buy them a Pay As You Go non-smart phone which could be a separate plan.
I am also hoping I can make use of the Verizon $100 statement credit and the trade-in program and maybe any Best Buy offers (mover's coupon, GC for the G4, etc).
I thought the Best Buy loophole was closed but apparently it still seems somewhat viable. However, given the nature of what I want to do, I'm not sure I can make it work.
Thanks everyone!!
