Keep unlimited data when upgrading directly from Verizon, no loophole needed!

My moms note 3 came today. Got that and a moto x on "unlimited day ". The motox kept unlimited no problem. The note 3 came with a receipt very different from the confirmation. No unlimited and they dropped unlimited text as well. Vzw said they would not fix it. So phone is going back. Going to do the basic phone loop I did last month with the note 3. Just annoying.

Well everything went smoothly. I noticed I had a statement included in with my phone that said I had 2GB of data for $30, so I called before activating and got them to fix the issue and now I have my Note 3 with unlimited data!

Loving the new phone!

I'm going to have to do the same thing tomorrow when I call :( !!

How can they say they won't fix it when Verizon came out publicly and said they would be honoring it ???

Exactly what I said. Vzw does what they want when ever the want. Some ppl will have luck getting them to honor it. We did not..and my dads been with vzw since it was bell Atlantic mobile. So much for being a loyal customer.

I would call back and speak with a different rep. I called this morning for the same reason and she helped me activate my upgrade and it showed unlimited still there. I will monitor it for the next few weeks to be sure though. Hoping for the best.
 
thanx, but sadly, thats still just another site that quoted verizon... I would like to see where verizon actually said it

It seems as if Droid-Life reached out to Verizon directly and many reports are getting their information from Droid-Life. I'm still digging around to see if Verizon put out a statement on any official outlet, but I'm thinking it was just a response to Droid-Life, and perhaps some other blogs.

I would but we returned the phone already. New one using the basic phone upgrade method is already on its way (thanks to my brother for not wanting a smartphone :) )
